Crown Hardware & Lock is a family-owned and operated business that has been helping keep San Franciscan’s safe and secure since 1957. They are a true full-service locksmith company with six fully stocked vans to respond to any type of security need you may have 24 hours a day. Crown Hardward & Lock has a dedicated dispatch office to help you to schedule work or to help you decide the best way to fix a problem you may have. Brothers Greg and Joe Schoepp, having over 40 years of hands on locksmith experience between them, are uniquely qualified to help you solve any problems you may have. Crown Hardware & Lock is the place where consumers are directed when other lock shops fail to fix a complex problem or to locate those hard to find parts. Crown Hardware & Lock provides mobile services for residential, commercial and automobiles. They provide hardware from premium companies like Schlage, Von Duprin, Baldwin, Medeco and LCN to name a few. Manufacturers’ warranties back all hardware installed, and Crown Hardware & Lock guarantees their installations.

They did show up on time. I like this company because they did allow me to be billed for the service. I think they are very good in pricing for their services as well. The gentleman that came out was very nice. It took him about 30 minutes to make me a key for the door. My key does work fine. I would use them again. It was fast and went smoothly.

Quick and easy. I phoned on Friday and set up a Saturday appointment (no extra charge for Saturday if scheduled in advance, I was told). Jesse came, did his thing, and we were out for the minimum charge plus parts. The service charge was about $43 and the first half hour cost about the same, plus about $40 for the striker plate.

Both jobs were botched! The Subaru keys cost around $8.00, but only one of the two worked! By the time I realized this, I didn't have time to return to get the second one redone before the car was shipped to the East Coast. They told me that the key to the VW bug couldn't be done because it had a ''chip'' in it. I left but after researching it, learned that no such chip existed in 1998 VW bugs! I returned and was told that they would need to keep the key overnight. I left it overnight and when I returned the next day around noon, it still was not done. Turns out there was no one competent to do the key. The key was done by an inexperienced employee who was doing ''on the job'' training on the key I wanted duplicated. When finally finished, it cost over $40.00!

WE WENT TO THE HARDWARE STORE TO ARRANGE WHAT WE WANTED TO USE FOR REMODEL. THEY REFERRED US TO AN INDIVIDUAL TO DO THE WORK. HE WAS VERY GOOD AND WE HAVE HAD HIM BACK TO DO MORE WORK SINCE.
