The electrician they sent was helpful and clearly very knowledgeable. He offered tons of solutions to improve on the problem as well as some other things I might want to look into. I would definitely hire this person again

He was just great.

He installed two lighting fixtures in the kitchen. He realized one of the switch needed to be correctly wired so he fixed it. The only thing we couldn't do was the electric ceiling vent. It's too old and the motor needed to be replaced. I have to order a new motor from a special shop so that Mr. Cahalane will be able to install it. I would highly recommend him.

I trusted that John was dealing with me fairly. Cahalane Electric is at the top of my list for future electrical needs.

John was very professional. We had a relatively easy fix (switch) but it was complicated to me. John was very patient in explaining the issue and the solution.

Timely professional service to upgrade the outlet for my just delivered ASKO w/d on Fri Jan 6Th. I was dreading having to wait til Mon or Tues to get hold of an electrician. Most fortuitously John Cahalane responded to my request that afternoon❗️ With extra time til his next appt he changed halogen bulbs in my kitchen and will do so another time for lighting in my 14ft ceiling with an appropriate tall ladder; safety first ‼️ He will be my Go-To electrician and he will be yours too 🥇🏆🥇 Bob G, SF

I do not recommend that people should look at customer reviews when making their decision on whom to contact. Online reviews are far to fickle and often not based on reality. That said, my experience with Cahalane Electric was professional, prompt, efficient and cordial.

He was great - he knew exactly what the issue was with the switch in the furnace and fixed it

We had a small job, removing a baseboard heater and instllling a box. Everything perfect.

Excellent service and responsiveness

I asked several times for a receipt, and he said he would provide one when he got home. Days gone by and no receipt. Contacted him and left messages. Very nice guy but I needed a receipt for work performed.
