Overall it was great. They were pretty quick. My house is now warm and cool. They actually did a good job. I think they might be a little on the higher price range.

They were competitive especially with the rebate that equaled a third of the total price . Their guy was knowledgeable. He did a good job overall and we're very happy with him.

It went pretty well. We had a different contractor putting in our high-efficiency furnace/ AC combo which complicated things a bit (normally they would do the whole package). We also had a delay in the middle as David's electrician found a lot of stuff in the attic that needed fixing before they could insulate (my contractor did the work). Obviously, this is just part of working on an older house. David (owner) and his sister, Sarah (office manager?) were responsive to our concerns and worked with our (not easy) schedule. The technicians who did the before/after energy audits were great--very professional, organized, efficient. The guys that did the insulation were sincere and reasonably careful, and they were nice people, but they missed some things--like forgetting to insulate under part of the house and around the attic entry space. David had them take care of it as soon as I reported these problems and things did get fixed promptly. (I don't think these guys were part of his regular crew--I suspect they were subcontractors he has used before). I haven't crawled around under the house to inspect personally, but my husband had to go under there to relight the furnace after the insulation on the walls was done and he says it looks OK. My house is definitely warmer (and quieter--bonus of insulating the walls!). I would recommend them for this kind of work--my contractor says that very few companies who do this type of thing bother with the air-sealing, and it makes a big difference. My PGand E rebate got processed promptly and I got the check a few days ago.

The audit and work went well, although everything took longer than expected. The windows and frames needed to be rebuilt due to dry rot and ended up costing much more than expected as time and materials added up. The owner was responsive and workers were professional, efficient, friendly and accommodating.

We got them through web search. They were excellent. We have a house that was built in the mid sixties. The central heating was not balanced at all. The top floor would get very hot and the bottom floor would stay very cold. The previous owner had replaced some windows but not all with double paint. The checked out where the energy loss was in the house. They were very transparent and they showed us all the results. They prioritized various things that could be done; some things that they do and some things that they don't do. We were planning on doing some remodeling anyway and it wasn't a big deal for us. They did a good job. They delivered what they promised. They were good about scheduling things and working with us. We were very happy with everything that they did. We used them for different things like energy audit, rebalancing our central heating that included new duct work and sealing up the gas in the house. The audit was about $250 and all together it was $7000. They also did other little things. The price was fair. They were able to quantify what it would cost. They prioritized and allowed you to make the choices. Some of the work was done by other contractors.
