BAY AREA GARAGE DOOR

Our garage door broke down Thursday evening. I called these guys at 8 pm on Thursday and they were out at my house at 9 am on Friday. They were very friendly and upfront about what the issue was and what needed to be fixed. They also tuned up the door and tightened all the bolts without even me having to ask for it. 

I had some problem with my garage door they came to fix it in a reasonable price.I had him come a month ago, it was very good.

Very impressed with this company! Garage door wouldn't open this morning and they came out very quickly. They repaired everything, and also serviced the system so it's quieter than ever. Highly recommend these guys! Prompt, professional, and reasonable.

He showed up very quickly -- a little more than an hour after I called. The job was quickly done and the garage door has been running well since.

They were great and I would definitely hire them again. The service was pretty simple, but I liked the company and would definitely call them again.

I searched for Garage Door Repair on Angie's List and sorted the results by closest to my house. He was the closest and had an A rating. I called and he answered right away. I told him my problem and he knew what was wrong. He said he could come over right away, but I was at work so I made an appointment to meet him at 2PM. At 2PM, John showed up right on time. We worked on the garage door for 1.5 hours, which I thought was very fast. John gave me some additional helpful tips for my garage door: -Adjust the bracket frame -Install a plug in the ceiling for the opener -Caulk the edges of where the particle board meets the wood frame (on the actual door) to prevent water damage This was very helpful and beyond his call of duty. I was very grateful.

I was very happy with this service. I liked the customer service, the attention to detail, and the quality of work.

After we got the electrical outlet required installed, the door was brought out in short order and installed in one day. As of 5/20/10 the door and opener are working perfectly. We are very satisfied with the quality of the materials and installation work.

Showed up on time.Suggested a somewhat cheaper alternative which I found useful.The alternative idea increased the original estimate but I felt it was the worth the slight ($38.00) over estimate.The new garage door opener required two eletronic sensors where none had been before.The new opener is quieter than the old and I am very satistied with job and new equipment. Would use again

It went great. They were willing to wait until we get the permit before starting, which I understand was unconventional but preferred by me. They assured me the Genie Pro Stealth was quiet by telling me they've installed them for other San Franciscans with similar issues regarding noise. I tend to ask a lot of questions and David answered them each step of the way without getting annoyed. The install was clean, clean-up was quick and everything explained to me at the end.

Fantastic. They were there when they said they'd be there and provided additional service when they noticed the frayed cable at a nominal cost. Explained everything they did as they went. We will call them the next time we have garage door issues.

Existing cable was frayed, cotter pin broken, and mounting pin missing. They diagnosed the condition and made repairs.

The employees came out and did their job when they said they would. They were polite, professional and I have no complaints. They did it for the price they said.

Called late on Monday afternoon for an estimate. After giving information about the garage door, an appointment was set up for Wednesday morning. David arrived promptly and assessed our problem. He did not have the correct springs that were needed so he left and said that he'll come back with the required springs. We had an old car that was parked in the garage blocking the way. He was kind enough to help my husband push the car out and then help push it back in when the job was done. The 2 torsion springs were replaced and then he sprayed lube on all the joints and hinges on the garage door, and the rollers on the track. The work was done quickly, efficiently and very professionally.

Called to set up appointment. He was available the next day, but I was not available so he came on Saturday, the day after. The repair was done quickly and efficiently.

It turned out to be a corroded wire, so it was hard to troubleshoot, but he figured it out quickly. He was extremely friendly and courteous.

Great. The return phone call took about 1 day, probably because he's busy doing good work. He made an appointment for two days later and arrived promptly when he said he would. He was happy to talk me through what he was doing and was very friendly the whole time. He spent an hour or so replacing both springs. Only one spring was broken, but they usually get replaced in pairs since the other one is likely due to break. He inspected the door and made several other minor adjustments at no additional charge.

I didn't know it, but the enormous bang that I heard in my garage one night was the coil on my garage door opener snapping! I found out about it on the Mon. morning of Thanksgiving week, just as I was about to leave for work. I checked here on Angie's List and found these folks, called them, and they were out at my house as promised a little after noon. David Henry is a gem; he identified the problem and repaired it in less than 1 hour, despite some unexpected difficulties. The price was more than reasonable. When I read the reviews, I thought, "it isn't possible that these folks are that good." I'm here to tell you, it is, and they are.

I made an appointment, the service man arrived promptly, identified the problem, fixed it and offered advice on maintaining the garage door opener as well as the garage door.

Easy to contact and schedule appointment. They asked questions over the phone to determine which type of springs I needed. Actual work took under 30 minutes. I also asked about replacing my tilt up garage door with a modern sectional roll up door at a later date. Great experience. My calls were answered promptly, quickly scheduled an estimate visit. John Wilson gave a thorough, pleasant explanation of door types and options for replacing the motor (said they could still use the 20 year-old motor, though I had it replaced). Referred me to an electrician to install the correct power outlet for the motor. Garage door installation went smoothly, all trash cleaned up, and I'm very pleased.
