Growing up in San Francisco, first attending St. Finn Barr's then graduating from Riordan High School, I have a great sense of pride in San Francisco and the Bay Area. As a native San Franciscan, I have a long-term commitment to my customer and to my business Automatic Garage Door was formerly located at Cesar Chavez (Army Street); And, Kansas Street for over 40 years. We have recently purchased our own building at 2285 Revere Ave. At the corner of Industrial only 3 blocks from the old Goodman Lumber on Bay Shore Blvd. We specialize in: Residential Garage Doors and Operators. It was not a simple installation since we have a very old house and they had to resize the garage opening to fit a standard size.
Very good job - took them two days - they had expected to get it done in one; they did not charge more even though it took them a lot longer than they expected.
We had an additional twist - after they had installed the garage door we had to have them remove and reinstall it because of carpentry work - they charged an additional $490 for this extra service - which I felt was reasonable. When they came back to reinstall the door they had to spend almost a whole day doing the job - the carpentry work had altered the garage door opening and anchor points - they did an excellent job of reinstalling the door.
While I saw other companies with lower prices I think I made the right choice with Mark's company - all the work is first quality and they responded quickly when we needed them to remove/reinstall the door.
The door itself has greatly reduced our road noise and the garage door opener is certainly a lot quieter than our old Genie.
