Masonry Work
During the estimate, she assured me that her mason was a pro. 2 days into the 3 day job it was evident that the work was be half-rate. New poured slab didn't seem to slope the right direction. Damaged/scratched my deck's finish with the stones they were installing. Did NOT return to finish the job on the third day as indicated. Used/damaged my tools and lumber to perform work. Left the work site a complete mess after each day's work. Completely forgot about the threshold. Was consistently HOURS late for the job. Estimate for material was 1/3 the final cost. Water pooled on the masonry, did not drain. The workmanship was poor, messy, and ugly. Prioritized other jobs over mine, even when late. Allowed her to correct the mistakes. She cut channels for water drainage, installed a few more stones to the job, and somewhat improved the water drainage. She was 100% drama - filled with excuses for everything she did poorly.
