We were remodeling an older, single family home that had not been upgraded or remodeled in 60 years. We met three times with Angel Granados (General Contractor and company owner) for a bid on our extensive remodeling job. Angel was referred to us by a decorator/designer that we previously hired withexcellent results. She has worked on other real estate jobs with Angel, and having had a great experience with her, we trusted the recommendation. When we met with Angel, he was highly knowledgable and professional. He was also on-time to all meetings (two in-person and one by phone). We especially liked his detailed line-item bid, which allowed us to realistically see all the costs involved and to best work within our budget (approx. $20,000). We could also tell from our time with him that we could trust the quality of what would be done; we felt comfortable that we could be away from the house for the duration of the project with him as our selected contractor. (We also interviewed other contractors, and while some were less expensive, Angel inspired the confidence that the job would be done right, and on time.)
