WINDOWS ETC

Our initial contact with Cheryl was wonderful. She's very knowledgeable and friendly. We signed the initial contract in March 2013. Of the 6 items we had contracted for, only 1 was completed without issue. They promised to do a punchlist when the job was complete to fix any issues, but that never happened. I had to call and email my complaints for them to be addressed.
It's now June 2014 and I'm still fighting to get a new front door. The one that was originally installed had a defect. I had Cheryl come out and look at the problem in August. After much to-ing and fro-ing the manufacturer finally came out in February 2014 to and quot;fixand quot; the door. The fix was worse than the original problem. Windows Etc. assumed that everything was fine because they hadn't heard from me. They never bothered to check to see if the problem had been resolved. I am now working with the manufacturer to get a new front door because Windows Etc. never did anything about the problem. The french doors that were installed had a gap. I complained and Cheryl said that the manufacturer would have to fix it. Two visits from the manufacturer later, we still have a gap (granted it's smaller) but that's the best that they can do. We had cracks surface in the drywall of the slider, which they did offer to fix, but quite honestly, I don't want them anywhere near my home. I would never use them again, and I definitely would not recommend them to my friends.

The entire process with Windows Etc was smooth from the great advice provided by Cheryl Winkelman to the installation by the great team. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the windows as well as the workmanship of the installers. I obtained three estimates and Windows Etc. offered a fair price.

Windows Etc was the first window company I got an estimate from. This company is family owned and operated by Cheryl Winkelman. She took me through her show room and explained every detail of the windows and doors they offer. Armed with this information, I was able to ask intelligent questions with other providers and ultimately came back to Windows Etc. Cheryl's three sons were responsible for measuring and installing the windows. They arrived promptly and installed the two doors and living room window in a matter of a hours. Their work was very professional. I had also purchased nine other windows that I elected to install myself. The brothers couldn't have been more helpful. They allowed me to watch them install the large window and then gave tips to make the installation easier. I will heartedly recommend their services to anyone interested in new quality vinyl windows.

I BARELY REMEMBER THE EXPERIENCE, IT WAS SO QUICK AND PAINLESS. I CALLED AND THEY CAME RIGHT OVER FIXED IT IN TWENTY MINUTES AND LEFT. THE MAN WAS FRIENDLY. IF I EVER HAVE TO DO THIS AGAIN I WOULD CALL WINDOWS, ETC.

THEY THINK THAT WE ARE TRYING TO HOLD THEM UP ON THE DEAL. MY WIFE SAID THAT SHE JUST WANTS THE DOOR TO WORK. THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO IT. THE DOOR DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY. THE INSTALLATION WAS DONE WELL. THEY'VE BEEN OUT HERE FOUR TIMES. I AM WILLING TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

IT WAS VERY GOOD. WE RECOMENDED THEM TO PEOPLE. WE WOULD MOST DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. IT WAS NEAT WORK AND EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS.
