Robert gave a detailed estimate of the work needed to be done and went over all the repairs, as well as suitable options to increase the energy efficiency of our home. Definitely concentrated on the best bang for the buck items for our Advanced Energy Upgrade, and maximizing our rebate. The result has been a significant increase in the overall comfort of the house- no leaky draft, the heater doesn't cycle endlessly, and the the utilities are quite a bit lower.

My house was built in the 50's and needed a lot of work. The HVAC installation was the most complicated as the installers did not have a lot of room to work in the attic and had difficulty with the gas line access. I was very surprised by the exhaust fans in the bathrooms. There are so quiet that I can barely hear them! All through the process the technicians were courteous, clean, professional and easy to work with. They adapted to all obstacles and communicated well. The windows and patio door were installed in a day without any major complications and are clean and beautiful. There were no issues with the wall, subfloor and attic insulation which was also completed in a day (walls one day, the attic and subfloor another day). An electrician was brought out twice for my additional requests for a new electrical panel and GFI outlet outside. I had another request to paint the entire house instead of just covering the outside patches from the wall insulation. Grenergy adapted to my every request easily and without any hassle. Everyone was polite and even treated my dogs nicely!
What a difference insulation and windows make! I live in a loud neighborhood and have found the improvements to be about 90% better than the way I was living. My house now stays at even temperature where as before it was drafty and bone chilling cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer. The noise level has dropped significantly and I can sleep at night without interruption. Because this project involved rebates from SCE and the Gas company there were many audits and re-audits which became tiresome however it did ensure the quality of work performed.
The project was ran exceptionally well and I found the entire team to be professional, courteous and prompt with a lot attention to detail. This company exhibits a high degree of integrity, they take pride in what they do and they exceeded my expectations. I appreciated the fact that they dealt with all of the permits and rebate process as well as the job planning. I only had to deal with about 2 guys who directed everyone else. The quoted price only changed when I added the panel and GFI.
As a single woman I am always on guard when dealing with maintenance projects and I felt very comfortable with both the team of Grenergy and the vendors that they hire. My profession is working as a Specialist in Plant Engineering at UPS so I have a higher degree of knowledge over the average woman regarding HVAC, electrical and asset protection. I was very pleased with the outcome of my upgrade and even found this project to be fun which is not what I was expecting at all. Grenergy answered all of my questions, were attentive to my additional requests and always returned my calls promptly. They have a high degree of knowledge, experience and are trustworthy. All of their workers were on time and cleaned up after themselves.

I contacted Robert over at grenergy contractors and spoke with him about a program called flex path through the county of los Angeles. We went over other options and decided to go ahead with the work. Robert went ahead and took care of all the paperwork for the flex path program and rebates. They started promptly and even showed up early, which I greatly appreciated and worked vigorously all day. I personally have a good amount of construction knowledge and was watching the home time. They did a good job and I was pleased with the work. Robert had good communication skills and responded in timely fashion. They completed the job in almost done day. They had to return for about 2 hours worth of work and where fairly clean. Overall experience was very good
