They have been really good. They are professional, on time and fast. We would highly recommend them.

Well done, albeit made too many holes (many unnecessary) in my ceiling. First person did not do a good job to rough finish ceiling. Second person sent out was excellent.

We bought a house that needed quite a bit of electrical work done on it, placing ceiling lights, running cables for comms, replacing all outlets, and putting in a new panel.  Dave and his guys did an awesome job.  Dave Zedaker was always responsive, easy to work with, and willing to take the time to listen and explain everything. His on site guy whose name was also Dave, did an excellent job and was also very easy to work with.  I had them compete the job, and there were no surprises when the bill came due.  Both Daves were always on time for the appointments, and they even closed out the work a couple of days early.I am very happy with their work, and will definitely use them again.Give them a call!

Eric spent a lot of extra time just to make sure everything was working well, and adjusted to my requirements.

David (owner) came to my home initially in late June 2013 and took notes as I talked about what I was thinking of doing. I am on a fixed income, so needed to plan ahead. He was on time, very knowledgeable and very professional. He took the time to explain to me how each job would be done. Then, he mailed me a detailed estimate sheet with a description/price for each of the 5 jobs that we discussed.

First visit (July) was to put the microwave on a dedicated circuit. Eric, the technician, was prompt, courteous, and told me what he was going to do, answered my questions, completed the work, and cleaned up the areas when he was done. I thought he was so good that I specifically requested Eric to perform the next 2 jobs.
On the 2nd visit (August), Eric installed 3 electric wall heaters so that I could heat my home more efficiently than using the ceiling radiant heat. Again, he explained what he was going to do and followed through with little mess.
The 3rd visit was to put my refrigerator on a dedicated circuit. This job was not on the original estimate list, but I decided it needed to be done. I called David who quickly mailed me an estimate and gave me a good discount (after I asked about that possibility). On the 3rd visit (Sept), Eric put my refrigerator on a dedicated circuit.
Overall, the 3 jobs cost me approximately $2300. For me, it was money well spent and I didn't think it was overpriced. Now, I can use my kitchen appliances without tripping circuit breakers at the fuse box. I know the work was done correctly by a licensed electrician. David is excellent to work with as is Eric. I would definitely recommend Zed Electric, with no reservations.

Overall, I was extremely pleased. Dave came out, at the scheudled time, to give the estimate. I immediately felt like he was more knowledgeable than the folks from the other two companies the I received bids from.
Zed was the middle bid, but very close to the lowest bid. And I felt more comfortable with Dave's level of expertise and his recommendations.
Dave's crew handled the job expertly and efficiently. They showed up on time, and cleaned up at the end of each day. They also let me know the planned order of installation. And they stuck to it, so I could make sure that my dogs were put in an area where they weren't working.
I had a small problem with a switch that I discovered about two months later. They promptly came out and fixed it.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the service, the quality of the work, and the price competitivenes.

They were mostly pretty good, but they were expensive. They didn't do a good job of labeling the box. I haven't talked to them since they did the work.

I'd use Zed next time without a second thought. I'd love to give straight A's, and would expect to next time, since it seems the quality issue was from the supplier of the parts.

WE HAD A HARD TIME FINDING AN ELECTRICIAN THAT WAS WILLING TO COME OUT TO OUR MOUNTAIN CABIN FROM SAN DIEGO. ZED ELECTRIC WAS WILLING TO DO OUR WORK AT NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR THE LOCATION, AND DID A GOOD JOB.

WE USED ZED ELECTRIC WHEN WE REMODELED OUR TOWNHOUSE AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR BUSINESS. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IF THE NEED AROSE.
