Very Well.  I think it would be cost effective if you added carpet cleaning,

The initial phone call to set it up seemed to go well.  I spoke with Lisa.  The bundle included only 4 rooms of carpet cleaning, so I agreed to the additional charges for more rooms and stairs.    Regarding the housecleaning:  I left a very specific list of tasks for the maids to do in case they ran out of time, but I even agreed to pay extra charges ($20.00 per half hour did seem reasonable) should they need more time.   I clearly told Lisa that the 3 bathrooms were to be done first, then the kitchen, then floors and blinds.  I even reviewed the instructions with Lisa and explained that I could not be there as I was having eye surgery.  To my shock, the morning of the cleaning, the maid called and said she didn't get to two of the bathrooms because she started in the kitchen and she was out of time.  Mind you, this job should have been a breeze for two maids to spend 3 + hours to clean an empty, already clean townhouse.   The maid said the kitchen took time as it was very dirty.... which I knew was not true.  I had inspected the property and had already wiped down the fronts of all the kitchen cabinets and I had already cleaned the oven and refrigerator.  I had told Lisa all of this.  I told the maid that her instructions were to clean the bathrooms FIRST, and that it was not acceptable that she leave without doing so.  She said OK and we hung up.  I called the office and talked to Lisa the next day.  She was aware of the situation and said that she had also told the maids to clean the bathrooms when they called her because she knew that was my priority list.  I asked her to find out specifically what the maids had in fact gotten to on the list so that I knew what remained to be done.  She said she would get back to me.  She never called back.   When I was able to go to the property a few days later, I found the same ring in the toilet that had been there, spider webs on the blinds which had not been cleaned, and sticky spots on the floor.  The only thing I could clearly see had been cleaned was the dirty, sticky spot on the plastic cabinet shelf.  Also, they had wiped out the residue from the self-cleaning oven even tho I had specifically said NOT to clean the stove/oven and fridge.  I had replaced the burners so they were brand new and not in need of cleaning.  The top of the stove and the other appliances were cleaned by the tenants.    Regarding the carpeting:  A good basic carpet cleaning had been done, and many of the spots were gone, but many still remained.   Why hadn't the person cleaning the carpet called to discuss what still obviously needed to be done??? On the counter, I found my receipt that informed me about carpet pre-treatment and a guarantee, but none of this had been explained to me when I initially called.  I should have been informed of extra charges for spotting or pretreatment as I would have agreed to them given the condition of the carpet.   Since Lisa never called back, and now the time is short for new tenants, I called King Sweep after reading the reviews on Angie's List.  He did a great job.  I brought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned the toilets and blinds, as well as the sticky spots off the pergo floor.  Learn from my mistake.... don't use them!  I left another message for Lisa today since she never called me back like she said she would.  The last time we had talked I had not yet been to the property, so I wanted to tell her what I observed...  I guess I'll see if she calls back this time... 8/17 I received a voice mail message from Lisa that the maids had done everything on my list and they weren't even going to charge me for their extra time!  Sounds like the maids spin a good yarn to this company.  Either that or they are not very good maids...
Response from US Cleaning Service
"There must have been some sort of miss communication with this client which unfortunately caused confusion & misunderstanding. There were many attempts to contact this client where we were only able to leave a message & did not receive a call back. We are working hard to achieve better communications with our clients as well as our employees to ensure all of our customers receive the same quality service every time."

I called them and scheduled the cleaning the very next day. Lisa and Sue arrived on time and cleaned my place. They were very pleasant and did a thorough cleaning of the entire house. They now come every other week.
Response from US Cleaning Service
"Thank you for your positive feedback, we look forward to servicing you every other week."
