The roof was first replaced end of September 2020. The end result was sloppy as they used pieces of the granulated torch down cap sheet. There was black tar all over with footprints and other areas of a pinkish color and white material in certain areas. It was also discussed about the water pooling around the skylights after it rains. The problem wasn't solved on the first reroof or the second time around. (November 2020) And we were charged an extra $2,000 for plywood and 2x6's to lift that area. It just rained and it's a pool of water again. So that was just a waste of our money. Overall the cap sheet looks much better on the second reroof as they went from side to side with long rolls instead of using the scraps from other jobs. They also ran into our garage with their debris truck along with scraping the side of the exterior garage wall with the plywood. And dIdn't clean up well either. It was a very unpleasant experience and we would not recommend using this company.

We had TR do a total house remodel of every room, including a new roof, Solar installation, electrical panel upgrade, plumbing re-pipe, re-stucco, and outdoor living area. And now we couldn’t be happier with what is basically a new home. The whole team was great to work with as they took us through the whole process. Starting with the initial estimate from Tony, the owner, it was obvious that he cared greatly about making sure that we were completely happy with the every aspect of our remodel project. In contrast to other builders that had slick ads, showrooms and fancy seminar presentations with videos and wine and cheese telling us how great they executed remodel projects, Tony showed me real projects he had in various stages of completion. I spent a morning driving around north county following him in his truck to his building sites to see his crews in action on in-work projects and recently completed projects. His enthusiasm for what he does showed and is what sold me. TR’s project estimate was competitive with two of three remodel contractors we looked at. The third, a slick design-build company was considerably higher but I assumed that was for some super high-end design service - so as a trial, we agreed to pay an initial design fee to see what they could do. What we ended up with was a mash-up of a 2D drawing, one photo-realistic rendering of a room, along with some poster board display of different samples of flooring tile and backsplash materials and paint swashes for a design that we didn’t even like. We ended up doing our own design and then when we told them we’d go with another contractor, they gave us all the nightmare stories of people had with other contractors, while how well they executed their projects. I had my doubts because some of my questions to them had bounced between their different departments before eventually getting back to me. So we decided to listen to our gut feel and go with TR and in the end we weren’t disappointed. That’s not to say everything went perfectly with TR on our project. But the key point was how well TR dealt with problems - Tony listened, worked with us, was flexible and committed to professionally resolving every issue and made sure we were happy in the end. We pretty much had daily contact with some member of the TR team for the duration of our project, and everyone in the office was friendly, responsive, and great to work with. The work crew of carpenters, roofers, painters, plumbers, and electricians were all conscientious pros and did quality work and many times went out of their way to do what was needed. Thank you TR! - we love our new home.

very well. they were able to come and give me an estimate and provide a temporary cover for the roof leak area as there was rain in the forecast. They said they would be able to return a day later and that was good because it was going to rain again. Their cost seemed fair. We had a good father son team. The office personnel were knowledgeable and responsive. I've already recommended them to friend. they repaired a 10'by10' area with paper and my unbroken and their new tiles 8 were broken and checked the rest of the roof.

I contacted TR construction based on their reviews across multiple sites. Setup a meeting with Tony (the owner) who showed up right on time. Tony did a fast evaluation and observed a possible structure issue with the roof that I have seen before. Based on my conversation with Tony (and his knowledge), I decided to go with TR, even thou they were not the lower price, but Tony guaranteed me that they won't go over a certain price, whatever repair is needed. TR brought in construction engineer who evaluate the roof and identified what repairs are needed. All repairs were done, a complete new roof was installed and an extra section was added above the entrance, so we can wait for my special need son's bus without getting wet. TR kept us informed during the construction of any possible delays and target dates. They kept their are clean (while other construction was done in parallel) and when ever i called I got response right away. The roof looks amazing and function the same (was done in October before the big rain) and i feel confidence it will last us a long time. TR had to do some extra work on the repairs, but per Tony's promise, no price change . TR might not be the lower cost, but the quality and attention to details was worth every penny. I will sure use TR Construction for future projects

No issues whatsoever. The estimator was knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the work involved and various options. The crew arrived on time and completed the job in less time than was expected and cleaned up afterwards. More reasonable prices for replacement plywood and starter board than other places. Would recommend at least getting a quote from them.

TR Construction has been an excellent partner in our kitchen remodel project. The work entailed removing walls, adding structural support in the ceiling, and electrical. The crews were always pleasant, helpful, and cleaned up every day after they were done. I recommend them for your home remodeling projects

T.R. Construction was extremely professional throughout the roofing process. They kept in touch with updates. And, at the end, they called me about a credit being added for supplies that weren't needed. I was dreading this project, so I was pleasantly surprised by the process. We've dealt with a lot of contractors in the past two years and usually expect problems or extras costs, but this experience was pain free.

Company provided a clear contract of all work to be done and the lead roofer had a copy to follow. Once started the job went well in spite of rain. Work was promised from 12-14 weeks after contract was signed and began near the end of the window. Tear off was expeditious and the crew protected the yard and house. Roofers neatly replaced termite damaged roof parts, installed insulation, 7/16 OSB, weatherlock in valleys, two layers of felt and roofing. Additionally a vent was moved and two new vents added. City of La Mesa Inspection passed after tearoff and reroofing. Clean up was careful. The only call back was some painting on new eves that were missed, a quality painter primed and painted the missed area with appropriate care. The ladies in the office were most helpful in facilitating communication.

It took about 2 weeks to finish because there were only 2 guys doing the entire roofing project. They did a great job and cleaned up pretty well after they finished each day. I did find pieces of tiles all over the place in the bushes, but I realize these are GUYS that don't do 100% cleanup. Overall a very professional job.

First job was flawless. Second job they missed replacing a board in a very small section of the end of the eaves. We called them and they immediately responded and came out to complete the work within 5 days. For both jobs we worked with Tony Rossetti. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We would definitely use them again.

TR construction did an excellent job of renewing my roof. They stayed on the job from the first day, with the same crew, did daily cleanups and kept me informed daily what was going on with the job. They had to replace a lot of termite eaten starter board, and facia boards. It was a big job, but they managed to finish 1 day earlier then they had estimated. The painters, roofers, cleanup and gutter crew worked well with each other making the job go very smooth. At completion my house looks great and even my wife is very pleased (she is very picky about work being done on house). At end they cleaned up everything and I am now getting compliments from neighbors. I was pleased the same crew started and finished job, and were there every day to complete job. In addition I wanted a company that was licensed and insured.

My wife and I hired TR Construction to do our kitchen remodel and room expansion at the back of our house. We were impressed with everyone we spoke to in the office and also with all the guys in the field. Tony came out originally was very knowledgeable in all aspects of our build out, he made great suggestions on placement of our new kitchen as well as future desires. He had promised a written quote with all details within a few days and delivered! We couldn't be more happy with our new kitchen and room addition. Great experience overall. I paid Tony Rosetti a $1000 deposit in January 2017 to do a temporary patch on the rental property I manage. It is March 6th 2017 and there is no one on site despite Tony Rosetti's promise that there would be a man on site at 8 am today. What I did get was materials on site and a call from two lackeys who continued to lie to me. I will keep my promises to TR Construction though.

"We take great pride in our work and our reputation. In this situation we went above and beyond what was originally agreed upon in the estimate. The quote stated that "work will commence approximately 6-8 weeks from acceptance" along with the promise to "perform temporary patches at two existing leaks prior to job start." You accepted the quote on January 23, 2017, and gave us a deposit of $1,000. Our roofers came on January 25th to put in the temporary patches. Given the terms of the quote, we had until March 20th to start work, but on March 1st, you called demanding that we start your roofing project on March 3rd and threatened to slander our company name if we didn't. We worked hard to reshuffle the schedule and told you that we could get started on the morning of March 6th. Our supplier rearranged their schedule to deliver the materials to your property at 8:30 am, but given the quick change in the schedule, our roofers couldn't come until late morning. When we called to let you know, you became upset. When our Project Manager called back to resolve any issues, you swore at him and told him not to call you back. We have not been able to contact you and immediately refunded your full deposit of $1,000 dollars despite having already performed the roof patches. All the best, TR Construction Team"
