I sent him all our tax papers for the year after talking with him at length on the phone in January 2013. He in turn emailed me documents for our joint return signatures which were mailed back to him sortly after the email.|We waited several weeks and after hearing nothing, we emailed and got no response. This occured about five times and finally we called him in May 2013 and spoke to a person in his office who promised she would let him know we had called. Nothing happened. Called again in June 2013, same result. I expressed concern to his staff member that he had all our personal information plus had signed giving him permission to contact the IRS and to view our past years' tax returns.|This man never ever responded. To this day I do not know what to do about him having permission to view our personal records. In the mean time we completed our tax returns with another consultant.

Filed late and recent returns over several years. Roy Levine is my preparer and and advisor on tax matters...I highly recommend both him and the firm. Charged $200/per return.

I emailed Todd thru Angie's List website. I wasn't expecting an immediate response because of some of the feedback I had read. It did take a little while for him to respond, but he did eventually call. I think it was late on a Friday evening. I was in the market for a new Accountant, but also had some specific questions I was hoping get answers to. Todd was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He took alot of time expaining things to me in a clear way, even though it was late. I felt very good about the conversation and make an appt. with him for future services. He seems to have a busy office, but it appears that good things come to those who wait.

It went very well. When I called to make the appointment, the receptionist answered and booked me the following week at 6:30pm. Todd's receptionist sent info to me via email: map to the office, quarterly newsletter, and a worksheet for gathering my tax info. I sent a reply email asking about price, and she sent the detailed price list. When I got there, Todd was running a few minutes late from the previous appointment. He was friendly and we went through my tax return. It took about 1.5 hours. At the end, he didn't charge me anything. I even offered to pay a consulting fee, but he declined. I was very happy with Todd's advice, and especially the cost.

I called Todd Tyler's office on 1/5/11 to schedule an appointment for tax preparation and tax planning services. I spoke with his assistant who took a message and said Todd would call me back. As of today, 1/26/11 (3 weeks later) I have still not received a call from Todd or anyone at his office. I am extremely disappointed by their lack of professionalism. Even if it is tax season and they are too busy, the assistant could have stated they were not accepting new clients at this time or something but to not call back at all is completely unacceptable. That is why I give this company an "F" rating and don't recommend them to others.

I needed help with taxes. I called and left my contact information. No one ever called back. I'd read this had happened to others but was still surprised that anyone considering themselves professional would not even call back a potential customer.

I cannot say enough positive things about our time with Todd. He sent us information to prepare for our appointment. We have two businesses, various investmennts as well as traditional income. He was thorough and answered all our (MANY) questions. We did not feel rushed and really felt like he cared for us as individuals. Also, he was able to calculate the best amount to deposit in the IRA for maximum tax advantage.

Todd has been responsive to emails and phone calls, and his expert advice has been a significant improvement over the two tax accountants we have used before him. His fees are about half of what we had been charged, and his service, both in tax planning and the preparing the actual tax return, is at least twice as good. He has managed to do all this while at the same time staying true to our fairly conservative approach to taxes.

We were looking for a CPA to advise us since we just had a baby and our tax situation is getting more complicated. Previously we just used TurboTax. We found Todd on Angie's list and I called and spoke with his secretary who set up an appt for us to meet with him. She asked us to bring our two previous years' returns. When we met with him, he went step-by-step through our return and pointed out areas where we could improve and found some small errors in our return. He was very friendly and explained things in terms we both could understand. He also made concrete suggestions as to what we could do before the end of the year to reduce our tax bill. We are very impressed with him and will be having him do our taxes in 2010.

We usually do our taxes, but we felt ours was very complicated this year because we had moved, had income from 2 states, bought and sold a house, and had a baby last year! Our meeting with Todd was very pleasant, and he took everything we told him in stride and didn't think any of it was a problem. He was extremely organized and printed us a "to do" list (items we needed to complete the return) before we left. We had planned to make another appointment to finish our return, but was able to do everything else via email, which made it much easier for us. My only complaint was that I did not get responses from him right away when we emailed or called, though I'm sure it was because Todd must have been inundated with returns to do. I also had hoped that a sheet on "how to save on taxes next year" might be included with my return. Overall, I was very satisfied and plan on using him again next year. It made tax time much less stressful!

Todd is the best we have ever had. He is friendly and was sincerely interested in our questions and in helping us. We have used him twice now and he is especially gifted at making sure that we utilized all deductions to maximize our refund. He was very good at thinking of all possibilties, even ones we had never considered before. He also showed us how putting some money into an IRA would actually increase our refund by about 15-20%! We felt that he was more of an advocate than just a tax preparer. When it comes to finances, it's always nice to have someone in your corner to help you fight the good fight.

The only response I received to my e-mail request for a consultation was an automated e-mail message. Unfortunately, I never received another response.

I checked Angie's List, looking for a CPA. Todd was at the top of the list, so I called him. He returned my call the same day and gave me clear, concise answers to a few year-end tax questions. I was so impressed that I scheduled a tax consult the next day. (Todd offers prospective clients a free tax consultation.) My husband and I brought last year's return, and Todd went through it line-by-line, explaining each item and offering tax advice, as appropriate. It took about one hour. We came away with more knowledge about our specific tax situation and also a few actions we could take to reduce our taxes. At the end of our meeting, Todd gave us a copy of his price list, which is itemized and very easy to read.

Called on Tuesday September 2 and left a message. There was nothing in the massage indicating that Mr. Tyler was not in town. No return call or any other contact as of Friday afternoon.

It went very well. This is the second time I have used Todd. I found him on the list and I used him late last year before my extension expired. This year I received a call from him to schedule my 2007 taxes. The call was a surprise but was happy to setup a time. Nice touch! Todd is very professional and personable, easy to work with and does the work fast. It usually takes less than a week for him to finish the paperwork. I have recommended him to two other people who also had positive experiences with him.

This is the first time Todd and I have met and we hit it off from the very beginning. He is very much the knowledgeable professional yet is very approachable. Our meeting lasted for over an hour and we covered a whole lot of ground. I told Todd that I am looking for a CPA/CFP with whom I can establish and grow a long term business relationship. I am convinced that Todd Tyler is that person. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who may have that requirement.

Todd was very professional. He went into detail line by line. I learned alot from our visit. His price is very fair for all the ends and outs he knows. I can't recommend him highly enough. You will be so happy if you use him. It will be a long time relationship!
