I have been with them for 20 years. I deal strictly by phone with them. It just sort of happened, I guess. I haven't done a lot of bidding and getting pricing. They just seems to be reliable and kept goign. I kept renewing it. It was the easiest thing to do. State Farm in general is kind of a pain just like most auto insurances. Its not going to be an easy thing specially if you need any changes or any questions asked or any kind of information. The process of transferring from Texas to here was very difficult. I dealt with a number of agents that just did not do their part. I'm not terribly pleased with the way the personnel treats their clients, that's probably what I would tell family members. Its who I've used and it just too hard to change so I just keep it. They send things to me by mail. My policy is $60 a month and it comes out of my bank account. Its an auto pay thing with them.

They seemed very helpful.  We had one issue where we came from the trip and we had water line...the ice maker; I think I had somebody up in the attic to do some inspection.  He did something with the water line.  We had a leak and we came back fortunately, it wasn't that bad yet but it was about ready to fill in part of the ceiling to give in so we called them and they did a very professional very good job.
