I was familiar with the location and felt like lessons at the Humane Society would be the best option. One of our dogs was happy to go and she seemed to enjoy herself. The second dog was terrified. After he went a few times, he calmed down and was okay with it. They respond to the commands pretty well. One dog was pretty young - they mentioned that the lessons take better when they're a little older. But she reponds when she feels like it.

I finally ended up choosing a Black Lab Mix. He was only 10 months old at the time and his name was Cosmo. I changed his name to Junior. I never like to make a dogs name end in the letter and quot;Oand quot;. They get confused and not sure if you are calling their name or saying and quot;Noand quot;. I love my dog. He is the best thing in my life.
I want to thank the San Diego Human Society for helping me pick my Best Friend.

It was a great experience. The staff was extremly helpful and thoughtful, and they waived the usual fees since we were senior citizens. The kittens are doing great, too.

The training staff provided exactly what it said it would plus well-written how-to sheets for practice at home. The classes take place at the SDHS's Gaines Street campus.

THE LESSONS WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, AND RAN THE FULL ALLOTTED TIME. PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE.

THIS CLASS TAUGHT MY DOGS BASIC BUT MUCH NEEDED BEHAVIOR LESSONS. DOGS WERE TREATED WELL AND ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE.
