I contacted a few other contractors but they either did not respond to my phone call; show up as promised; or follow up with a timely quote. In other words they were unprofessional and I lacked confidence in all of them. I was going to table the project, but as a last ditch effort I visited J & W Lumber to get a "good" referral. They gave me Monti's phone number at San Diego Decks. He immediately returned my phone call; came over the next day to look at my job; and sent me a detailed price quote by e-mail that evening. His price was reasonable and fair given the extent of the dry rot. He then gave me an exact start date, within a week of his quote and his crew finished the job in just a few days as promised. He even found more bad boards and replaced them without charging me extra.  His crew arrived on time, did high quality work, with full cleanup afterwards. I was very satisfied with the outcome of my job and would use San Diego Decks again.  I highly recommend Monti's company  to others who need both power washing and deck repair work due to aging, termites and/or dry rot.

The company responded in a prompt manner to give an estimate and began and finished the deck in a timely manner. I have been very happy with the finished deck. Today I called them to inquire how to remove some recent stains that I had been unable to remove. Several hours later someone came out and showed me how to do it. The stains have now been satisfactorily removed. I am happy!!!!!!
