SA Heating and Cooling

SA Heating & Air Conditioning was sent by our home warranty company to fix our gas furnace.  We had hired a different company for a routine maintenance service on the system, and the technician had discovered hairline cracks in the heat exchanger, which can lead to carbon monoxide leaks.  
The technician from SA, Hernan, could not find the cracks and was ready to leave, saying there was nothing wrong.  I arrived home at that time, and attempted to demonstrate the cracks that I had been shown by the previous company's technician.  SA's fiberoptic scope had such poor focus, however, that I could not see the cracks through it.  I got a handled mirror from my tool chest and was able to use it to show Hernan the cracks on the heat exchanger (he had no mirror).  He then stated that the gas to the furnace had to be turned off and the furnace needed replacement.  
I had no confidence in SA after this failure to diagnose the problem that they had already been told was present, so requested a different repair company be sent by the home warranty company.

I was contracted this company through my home warranty company. I was told they would notified me within 24 hours to set up an appointment. I should have know when it took more then a few days to set up an Appt this was going to be a nightmare. Today, I had my service Appt scheduled between 9am and 1pm (a huge window I might add) at 1pm when no one showed up I contacted the company to wait on a hold for several minutes until I got a woman who spoke broken English. She stated that the contractor was running late (no kidding?) she stated that he would be there between 1:30 and 2. Well at 3:00 still no one showed up. I did however receive a phone call from the owner, Sam. Sam was not happy to say the least that I was questioning his technician. Sam told me that I needed to be more compassionate for his techs. Sam further told me that I was liar because I stated that I waited on hold for his secretary, because when calls the office he never waits. Whatever, I said. After about 3 more minutes of having this man ridicule me for being a customer he stated that he was canceling the service call and that HE DIDN'T NEED MY BUSINESS! Completely ?unprofessional, this is one comp any you should avoid using. After all SAM DOESN'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS!
