OVERALL EXPERIENCE = NEGATIVE. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM AN "A" IF THEY WOULD HAVE SIMPLY CALLED ME BACK AND SAID "THANK YOU FOR CALLING US, BUT WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO DO YOUR JOB" OR "THANK YOU FOR CALLING US, BUT WE DON'T DO THIS TYPE OF JOB." BUT THEY COULDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY CALL, WHICH IS RUDE.

THIS FIREPLACE WAS HUGE AND RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY HOUSE. IT WAS SURROUNDED BY A BEAUTIFUL 1960 VINTAGE OAK STRIP FLOOR. I FIGURED AFTER I HAD THE FIREPLACE RESURFACED, MY FLOOR WOULD BE TRASHED AND IT WOULD HAVE TO BE REFINISHED. WITH THAT SAID, RUSS WAS THE MAGICIAN. NOT ONLY WAS HE THE LOW BIDDER, BUT HE DID ALL THAT MASONRY WORK FOR A WEEK ON THE OAK FLOOR(COVERED) AND DIDN'T SCRATCH MY FLOOR ONCE. A BIG SAVINGS IN REMODELING BECAUSE THERE WAS NO FLOOR REFINISHING. HE DID BEAUTIFUL WORK, NO ONE CAN TELL IT'S FAUX ROCK. THERE WAS NO HASSLE, HE GAVE ME THE PRICE AND HOW LONG IT WAS GOING TO TAKE AND HE DID IT.
