fixed the dead switch, found problem in a different circuit and repaired it quickly.

We had Roberts come and do a quote for backyard lighting that was a fairly involved job (just under $2000 worth of work), and they got back to us in a reasonable time frame.
We chose them for the work as they had previously done good work for us on our former home. They showed up the day we scheduled them, albeit a bit later than planned...but they called ahead to say they were running late. This actually happened 2 times, but since we work from home it wasn't a big deal that they were late, and it was nice of them to call and let me know. The job was supposed to take about a day's worth of work, and they didnt start until Wed afternoon, so we knew it would go into Thursday but didn't mind. By the end of Thursday they still werent done and said they'd need to come back Friday....but on Friday they called to say they had another job that was conflicting and wouldn't be over, and couldnt make it on Saturday either and said they'd need to come back on Monday. We weren't too happy with this as we were having a large gathering of people over on Sunday and needed the work done before then. In hindsight (and as a recommendation for all other customers), I should have been clear from the start that we needed the work done prior to Sunday...but with an estimate of and quot;1 days workand quot; and them starting on Wednesday, I never really thought to worry about whether it would be done by Sunday. So I was pretty upset and contacted the office. They were very apologetic and understanding of my frustration. They worked with their team to ensure they could come back to my house on Friday and finish the job, which they did.
From a skill level perspective, they were great and the lighting looks awesome. I wasn't even sure how they were going to accomplish everything we had asked for as it seemed pretty complicated, but they got it all working exactly as we had hoped. Our friends were really impressed with the lighting when they saw it.
Overall I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. They did get a little backed up on other jobs which caused delays and we had a little bump in the road but they were quick to remedy it, which is the most important part if you ask me (that, and of course actually doing good work). Just be clear to them what your time frame is and when you absolutely need something done.
