ReFind Kitchens is a zero waste residential design firm specializing in the deconstruction and repurposing of luxury kitchens and baths. Using reclaimed and custom casework, countertops, and appliances, we design spaces that satisfy people, planet and pocketbook. We provide a free configuration of ReFind cabinets for your space, build custom cabinets to match your chosen kitchen, and offer a full suite of design services. If you'd rather just purchase great cabinets from us, we're happy to sell you luxury cabinets at up to 90% off retail. —People— ReFind is a family-run social enterprise, owned and operated by Juliann and David Berens (mother & son team). Juliann brings 20 years experience in the interior design industry, 16 years spent owning her own environmentally-minded design firm. She is a NCIDQ certified interior designer, LEED AP, and CAPS specialist. David manages operations and oversees deconstructions for ReFind Kitchens. He served as a Fulbright Scholar in Uruguay, graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.S. in Economics, and has worked in many different facets of sustainable construction. —Process— Through a network of home improvement professionals, we find high-end residential kitchens and showroom displays slated to be demolished. Rather than have top-of-the-line cabinetry, countertops and appliances end up as landfill, we meticulously uninstall them. All of our deconstructions are done by a licensed, professional crew, and most are done for free! As an authorized reseller for Habitat for Humanity, we can offer homeowners a tax deductible receipt when they donate and 20% of the estimated sale goes to building homes for those in need.
