Rick and his crew are top notch. We got bids from 3 highly rated roofers and we are very happy we chose RC roofing. They were competitively priced, used high quality materials, and have good craftsmanship. We had our tile roof completely replaced. It was a big job and was done in 4 days. Rick's team of roofers were extremely hard working, professional, and kept everything very clean. We had a tight timeline as we had work scheduled immediately afterwards, and Rick finished on time and on budget. On top of that, Rick provides excellent customer service and went above and beyond to make us happy. He's honest, reliable, and keeps his word. I highly recommend RC roofing.

The most amazing thing happened!! Rick, the owner of RC Roofing, arrived exactly at the appointment time. He was pleasant, courteous, pleasant and helpful. Rick climbed up on the roof, assessed the situation, and then reported back to me. He informed me that the work which had been done on the existing roof was outstanding, that I didn't need a new roof, and that the existing one should last for a number of years more. He also informed me that repairs weren't necessary on a different roof on the house. There was no charge. How refreshing! I am planning on remodeling and replacing the roofs on my home, and will certainly want to use this honest and knowledgeable man.

Rick and his crew were prompt and finished the job very efficiently in one day. They replaced 60 tiles, as well as fixed the leak. They also found another leak which they were able to repair as well.

Rick came over and addressed each and every issue that had been raised by the other contractor. He said none of these concerns interfered with the safety or integrity of our roof, and explained everything in a way that a layperson such as me would understand. In short, Rick said our roof is in great shape and doesn’t need to have anything done at all. He could have simply agreed with the other contractor and racked up more business for himself if he had wanted to do so; instead he didn’t charge me a cent for his time and effort although I would have been very happy to pay for the peace of mind he gave me. We had a leak around the chimney area of our roof. Rick initially diagnosed the leak as from old flashing in need of replacing. Was quoted $1250 for the repair. They had their guys come out promptly and replace the flashing all around the base of the chimney where it meets the roof. Doing a nice clean job. However, upon the next rain event that we had (about 1 week later), the leak was still vey apparent. Rick came back out to look at it again, and realized that he had mis-diagnosed the problem, and that the leak was actually coming from another area where the fascia board on the side of the roof penetrates the chimney stack. He was very apologetic and reduced the amount that I owed him for the repair by 50%. He then referred me to a stucco contractor to correct the actual problem. He was very honest, and I appreciate his being willing to work with us. To be honest the flashing probably needed to be replaced anyway in my 30 year old house.

We are totally satisfied with Rick's consideration, knowledge, helpfulness, work performed and price. Highly recommended! During the big storm which is rare to San Diego, we had our first roofing company(NOT RC Roofing) come and put down a tarp. The roofer promised us that this will temperately stop the leak. But it didn't. When we called this roofer, he became VERY angry at us. I didn't know what to do, so I called a second roofer, which was RC Roofing, trying to see if they can come fix my roof. Rick replied my call right away. After evaluating the situation, he told me that they were so booked up because of this rare storm, so it probably would take them a longer time to be able to come fix my roof than this roofer, so Rick encouraged me to still hire this current roofer because he probably could fix my roof sooner. Rick's honesty and helpfulness helped me see that he truly puts customer's interest first, in stead of putting his own business first. A couple of days later, the storm returned. This first roofer promised us that he would try to find a time to come fix that tarp, so it does not leak anymore. He promised us this on Saturday. We waited until Tuesday, while the roof was leaking everyday as much as before he put that tarp on. Then I called him and left a message, politely asking when he plan to return. The next day, he called my tenant who lives in this leaking house, used curse words and told her that he would NOT come back to fix it. We were all SO shocked by his rudeness! I immediately started to look for other roofers, including RC Roofing. This time, Rick quoted me a very competitive price, and a 3 year warranty on his workmanship. More importantly, when I told Rick that my tenant needs the work to be done ASAP, he promised me that he would finish the work at the latest on 2/14, yet two days later he managed to come fix my roof on 2/4 ! A Saturday, and it was 10 days earlier than his original plan! That was NOT easy, because all roofing companies are so booked up with jobs because of this storm, including RC Roofing. Rick really cares about his customer's interest and try as much as he can to help. We are very happy with our roof that RC Roofing has fixed, and the quality of service that they has provided us. We definitely would hire them again for any future roofing jobs. Thank you, Rick!

He was prompt enough. It was a busy time of the year. It wasn't a complete roofing job. We had a sunroom that was leaking and everything and he did a good job making sure that he fixed everything. He was nice, he wasn't pushy. He was very helpful in pointing out his reasons for needing the repairs, it wasn't just like, "Oh, you have a roof leak, I fixed it." He took me up on top of the roof and showed me. He pointed out some flaws in the overall roofing job that had been done prior to him. I found him very helpful. There are issues with our roof that we will need to do later on, but it's repairs that we chose not to do at that time. He wasn't pushy in any way shape or form. It's the kind of company that you'd like to deal with as far as, "Okay, this is what I did." He took me on the roof, he pointed out what he did do, he pointed out where eventually things would need to be fixed, gave us a relative bid for that. Also, we haven't had any leaks or anything since then. He was friendly and helpful, without being pushy. He was backlogged at the time.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the result of the roof. Prior to the roof being done the house appeared to have three different roof coverings. Vinyl covering for the patio, old shingles for the original portion of the home and flat roofing for the addition that was added to the home in the late 70's. Several parts of the roof leaked. Now the roof appears to be much more cohesive in appearance and so far appears to be withstanding the rains that hit San Diego in March and April of 2016. Rick Clark "RC" and Jonathan Fulps were amazing to work with, I would definitely hire them again in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a new roof put on 2 years ago.  It started leaking this year.  Bad news.  I called the original roofer and he was out of business.  Bad news again.  I called a few guys to come place bids, and Rick was one of them.  He basically told me the roofing job was not one of the most professional he had seen.  He was being diplomatic.  He told me what he felt the problem was and it matched what other bids had said.   He offered to try to replace the area or replace the entire side of roof.  We went with the limited patch to start, knowing he might need to replace the rest.
He did a great job.  His team was on time and completed the work as expected.  There was no debris or junk left behind.  We have been through several bad storms and the roof is doing great.  Thank you for your honest work, Rick!

Came show it, they were prompt and working with Rick was a pleasure. As it turned out there was significantly more work to be donethan first realized, but is one-fault.  Just a mater of fact. The finial cost increase a bit more than I hope, but I'm very happy with job that Rich and his workers did.  The place look great. They even did a remarkable job cleaning up.

I've already recommend him to a co-worker and in a couple of months will asking him to look at me garage roof.
