From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and high quality.

I had used this company first in 2003 to do the floors in the kitchen that was being remoded at the time.  They installed new oak floors .  Did an excellent job at that time.

Then, I used them again around 2005 to finish the wood floors in the threee bedrooms and hall.  Again, excellent work.

Finally, I wanted to get rid of the carpet in the rest of the house, living, dining, entry hall, and a closet.  Since the work they had done in the past had held up so well I decided to use them again since they were still in buisiness.

The result was most excellent.  Everything was done to match what is current lthere. I can't even tell any time had past.  The entire house is now in hard word oak.

The owner is Robert.  I told them that I couldn't have the work done at this moment.  The quote was good.  I wanted them to come do the work in January.  We had a hard time deciding between Prestige and Ocean floor vendors.  Prestige was closer to us.  I cannot say I am 100 percent satisfied but it is okay.

They did a nice job and we were pleased.  They showed up on time.  They did what they said they were going to do.  We were happy with them.  They were punctual and they came when they said they would come.  They took care of the work and they were out of there when they said they would.  They left the house nice, neat and clean.  I thought their pricing was very good and fair.

We would rate them very high. They did a great job and they were priced right. We had no issues. We got several quotes and their quote was the best. We liked their sales rep and they had a good reputation. They were on time and did everything exactly.

I have no complainants.

Robert Mistretta arrived exactly on time to give an estimate for repair of scratches in my polyurethane-coated oak floor.
He was polite, friendly and professional. He outlined the several fixes available to me, including sanding the floor of the entire room. He surprised me by telling me I could save a lot of money and mess by simply using a and quot;Minwax wood finish stain marker penand quot; to
cover the scratches, which were superficial and which didn't penetrate to the wood.
He then produced his own marker of the appropriate stain color, cleaned the affected areas, and applied the stain pen. He recommended that I follow up with a floor-quality polyurethane spray.
I attempted to pay him, but he refused any payment.

Referred to company by realtor. Called company to refinish hardwood. Appraiser gave bid and also stated he would come back to bid on carpet 3 days later. Never arrived for carpet bid and did not call to reschedule.Tried for over a month to get the refinishing work done. Other work being done on the house so this required scheduling time that would work for both of us. This was a difficult and frustrating process as multiple phone calls and emails were not returned by company for days at a time. Once worker arrived he did not bring the stains needed and was unable to move the standard refrigerator by himself. He cancelled work that day. After multiple calls and an email to office it took four days to get a response to rescheduling and was told work could not be done the following week. He promised to call back with a time the following day but never called. In as much as I had a deadline to complete work I ended up having another company install new floors and as of this date, two weeks later I have still not heard back from Prestige. My overall impression was that the job was too small for them to use the manpower to get the job done and that larger jobs were their priority.

We selected Prestige Flooring on the basis of positive reviews on Angie's List and the BBB. The company undertook the work promptly but failed to complete all the work required. Also, it has been unresponsive to repeated requests by telephone and email over the last four weeks to return to finish the job. The outstanding work is not major, and would be easily completed. It is our impression that having been paid in full, which Rob demanded before we were able to inspect the work (the finish had not dried), the firm has no further interest in us.

It was really good. They gave me the estimate Wednesday, we were just moving in and wanted to do it quickly. They were done by the following Tuesday with about 1,000 square feet. They were very efficient.

It went very well. Almost no dust, a perfect finished floor.

Prestige Floors' owner came out to take a look at the parquet floor in a rental unit that had seen a lot of wear. He was extremely nice and friendly, and gave us a very good price. PF was only slightly more expensive than the competitor, but because the owner was so pleasant and came to see the floor himself, we hired him. The work was done early enough to allow it to dry so that the other work - painting, etc. for the rental unit could be made before the tenant moved in.

Great experience overall.

All floors were done while I was out of town. He managed to perfectly match the color on some laminate flooring in the room below. No one can tell the difference between the 2 rooms. Very personable and honest.

A major bonus: there was no mess whatsoever.

I am still very happy to have had this work done and would recommend Prestige to anyone who needs to have their floors refinished.

It went great. We were very satisfied. They cleaned up after themselves and the floor was stained really, really dark so the two guys that came said we will no more after we get the stain off. The floor was in great shape, they didn't have to make any repairs and showed us the specks of dark they couldn't get off. They showed us the different stains so we really knew what it was going to look like. I thought that was nice and they came back the next day and it was done.

Called on Monday. They were able to have a crew over on Thursday and finished the job on Friday. Although a relatively small room 11 X 13 Prestige Floors happy to do the job. They were quick, efficient, and left no mess. What more can you ask for. I'll use them again and would recommend them to others.

Prestige Floors did a highly skilled job of extracting pieces of wood that were stained from a floating floor, fileting replacement pieces off available planks, sizing them to fit the holes and glueing them in place to repair the floor. The skill level that was required deterred others from taking the job. The service was terrific, including flexibility on their part to accommodate us in scheduling the 3 coats needed to reseal the floor.

They were quite good. They were very clean. They really paid a lot of attention in making sure that the dust was picked up. They did the sanding and installation work. The floor looks great now. Their responsiveness wasn’t really an issue. Their punctuality wasn’t an issue too. Their professionalism was good.

I called and left a message late Friday, requesting a quote. Rob the owner, showed up Sunday morning and explained the process and generated a quote on the spot. It impressed me that he obviously wanted to do the job and was very straightforward with what all was involved. We originally thought that the flooring in the front hall would have to be cut out and replaced, but they later discovered they were able to scrape the layers of linoleum flooring and glue off without too much difficulty. This resulted in a savings to me of about $200. Termite-damaged boards were taken out and replaced with new. All blends perfectly and the stain even helps blend the flooring in that part of the house with the artificial wood flooring in the adjacent rooms. During most of this process, I was out of town. They showed up when they said they would, did the work and finished on time. The floors look even better than I could have imagined and there was no dust residue anyplace. This was a pleasant surprise compared to the last time I had wood floors refinished - some 35 years ago - dust everywhere! I wholeheartedly recommend Prestige Flooring and would certainly call on them again.

The kid who had done the installation was fantastic. He was a craftsman, and know what he was doing. He was so detailed oriented that ever molding that needed to be cut he cut. The work had look so professional, you would not believe. They were about $300 average than what I anticipated it to be from other companies. They are also very honest. If they said they were going to be here, they were here. They make arrangements to your time schedule. They responded to whatever you wanted, and I just recommended them to a few of the neighbors.

Excellent! Fast, efficient, professional service. Sanding and one coat on the first day, final two coats on the second day. Workers were neat and orderly. This quote was almost 50% lower than other quotes I got from Angie's List for this job.

I had to get several estimates quickly because we wanted to turn the property around and get it rented ASAP. Rob at Prestige Floors was very responsive. He worked with our property manager and visited the home a day after contacting him. He quickly gave us a very good estimate with detailed information about how he would go about the repairs and refinishing. His estimate was not the lowest but his knowledge and professionalism on the phone was impressive. We had our floors in current home refinished by another flooring company and Rob hit all the right informational notes in detailing how he worked, what the procedure was and how many coats of finish he provided. Finally, he did the job quickly and within the time promised. I did not meet him personally and only spoke to him on the phone. I did however see the work after completion and it was excellent. I would certainly recommend Prestige Floors for refinishing work.
