Scott Jones has continually been employed in this very diverse and broad field since 1987 in San Diego, working in nurseries, self-employment, and personal endeavors, along with experience with an interior plantscape company and a ‘fine detail’ tree service, as well as keeping up with cutting edge insights and knowledge throughout, as pertinent. There’s continual education and self-study involved due to the diversity and changes that exist and occur, as well as for acquiring and maintaining certifications and licenses, and, being as competent, comprehensive, and relevant, as is practical, in order to serve you best. Scott’s a San Diego native and lifelong resident, knows the region very well, very much appreciates the special qualities available to us here, and competently covers just about anything you would want for your yard and garden Plantscape Habitat. This fall I needed about 12 small trees on my property pruned. Some were fruit trees, some ornamental. He is extremely professional. He arrived to give me an estimate when he said he would and then returned to do the job when he said he would. He listened carefully to what I wanted the trees to look like and grow, and we discussed various approaches. The trees are now cut back, and they look as though they will grow how we discussed.
He is also a landscaper and an expert on plants. He gave me a bunch of free advice on my plants and made some good recommendations for additional plants in my landscape. I learned a lot talking to him.
