Pocket doors can be quite tricky, but Phil was up for the task. He knew just what to do and fixed it within a reasonable amount of time. The door worked perfectly and smoothly and did not come off the track. He is also very pleasant to talk to. I am glad that I found him on Angie's List. I now know where to go if I need any handyman work again.

Phil is great! Responsive, punctual, talented - he hung a cabinet despite the hole I'd made in the drywall trying to hang it myself. He also ran wiring to hang a new light fixture for less than I'd expected to pay. A pleasure to work with!

In this day and age of indifference PhiIl is a beacon of expertise, professionalism and skill. He was on time and fully prepared for every job we asked him to do. We just moved into new offices and there were a bunch of little things we needed done: hanging mirrors, putting up smoke detectors, putting a new knob and lock on one of the doors, putting up door stops, covering holes, drilling holes in some of the furniture, etc. Phil arrived on time and was pleasant when I didn't arrive on time. He just said OK when I would remember I needed him to do something else. He got some good deals on the smoke detectors and came up with alternatives when something I wanted done wouldn't work. He was very professional and pleasant. If we need anything done in the future, I will definitely contact him again.

Phil knows what he is doing and approached every project with enthusiasm. He had to go to Home Depot to get an adapter in order to put in my new faucet for my kitchen sink. Phil has a pleasant personality and is very easy to talk to. I would definitely have him back for more projects.

"Hello [Removed member name], I appreciate you taking time to review my company and the overall A, however I was peplexed at the C in price. I was called to install a kitchen cabinet that was not original to the kitchen in your rental property. I went over my fees on the phone as I do with everyone and they were agreed to. The cabinet required custom fitting to be installed. If the project was ended at that point the price would have been less. After the cabinet was installed you asked if I could stain it which required a color match. Then, you asked if I could replace the dyi shelves you built above the new cabinet with new ones to match the oak cabinet. Those had to be custom built, installed and also stained to match, as well as materials purchased, which was almost 100.00 ( my cost passed to you). You then added drilling and installing cabinet pulls on drawers and doors..The invoice was for 391.63 which included the 100.00 for materials. At no time did you express a concern for cost as you added to it. I wish you would have mentioned something so I could have explained my charges to you. Customer service is imperative to me and your satisfaction is always job 1. Thanks again and I hope this explanation helps. Phil Perin"

Phil provides a fantastic service. He is prompt, professional, and extremely customer service oriented. He was very responsive and actually investigated all the repairs to find out the root causes to ensure proper repair. He is also versatile - he completed electrical, plumbing, and other general repairs. He also responded quickly and was able to come out on short notice. Above all, he is a very personable and trustworthy guy. I would highly recommend!

I have used Phil before and appreciate his professionalism and courtesy. I called Phil to schedule the appointment and told him what items were on my list. I had all necessary parts except one. He needed to buy the parts for the drawer repair. He worked efficiently and cleaned each area after he was finished. He tells you his rates up front (I knew what they are from working with him before) and does not waste time. He is great to work with. I would highly recommend him.

BUYER BEWARE
He spent less than 5 minutes and only tighten up the stem of the hose bib valve which costs me $75.00
I specifically asked for a brand new hose bib ball value with 1/4 turn but he said I didn't need it. But I essentially already paid for a new one since it's costing me 75.00 just for the service but only got a temporary fix to my leaking hose bib valve. It will probably start leaking again and I will be calling someone more responsible who actually does what was requested.

"Hello [member name removed] I am sorry you were displeased with the work I provided to you. Your hose bib was leaking because the packing nut needed to be tightened nothing else and it no longer leaks . I went over that with you at the time of service and explained that and the options to you. The replacing of the bib would have been more than the $75.00 min that I charge and that also was discussed with you at the time of the service. If I miss understood what your decision was I apologize and to make it right I'd be happy to replace the hose bib and apply the initial service charge to the job."

Phil is friendly, efficient and knowledgable. He repaired a malfunctioning lock mechanism. He hung an outside door and a heavy wooden gate, cut the holes for the knob, lock and deadbolt and installed all the hardware. He repaired a strip of wood that was separating tile from hardwood floor and he repaired broken tile on our hearth. He is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him.

DO NOT pass go, DO NOT collect $200.00--call Phil FIRST!!! Terrific service, excellent work, punctual, clean, neat, trustworthy. He will NOT rip you off!! We discussed my "list", I left house wide open and went back to work, When I returned home, house was locked, all jobs complete. Life is good. Thank you, Phil
