Mark advised it would not be worth the repairs. They were able to move my contacts and photos over to a used phone and transfer my service. I also got a car charger, home charger and a memorycard to copy my photos to the computer. Mark explained how to move the photos from the phone to the computer.

We accidentally dropped something heavy on my wife's HTC Droid Eris, cracking the touch screen. I used google to determine that it was probably repairable, and that if I ordered the part on Ebay, I could probably do it myself, with a small chance of wrecking the phone if I messed up. I then googled phone repair shops in the area, and found PCS had great reviews on Yelp. I called PCS, and got a quote over the phone for replacing the screen. I decided to have them do it, instead of replacing it myself. I'm glad I did, because it turned out that the first replacement part they ordered was defective - I wouldn't have been savvy enough to know it was the part and not the phone that was defective, if I'd done it myself. They ordered another replacement touch screen, and it was good. It took a few days -- the defective part caused a delay -- but I I received numerous status (welcomed) reports from them. If the first replacement touch screen hadn't been defective, it would have only been a one-day repair! I would certainly recommend and use them again.
