PARK PLACE SCREEN & GLASS

Not well at all. They never called back after I tried calling them five times and saying I wanted the job done. They had given me an estimate, so did they just not want the job??? I only wanted a couple of wooden screens for my old house windows, and glass for a breakfront china cabinet. If those jobs went well, I was considering new glass top for my dining room table. I guess I'll find a new place to do the job.

They replaced several old double-hung wood-framed windows with vinyl ones, and a couple of ratty security doors with much better, powder-coated ones. Their prices are great,and they give good advice.

I walked in to Park Place Screen and Glass to get an estimate for a security screen door, which was given to me on the spot by an employee. I placed my order then and there. I was given an invoice.
That was the last I heard from them.
I called the business no fewer than 5 times over the course of 3 months to find out when I could expect installation, getting increasingly irritated. Many times the phone rang off the hook. Three months later, the owner finally called me back with a price that was more than double the estimate, completely unapologetic about the delayed response and ignored calls, and telling me plainly that they were getting the door from Dixieline and jacking up the price.
I sincerely do not understand how they are in business. After being jerked around by them for three months (in the off-season, no less!) I ended up installing it myself.

They were excellent. They were very nice people. They did the job quickly and efficiently. The price wasn't bad at all. They didn't come to my house; I picked up the screens.

My experience with Ken ( the owner) and his employee who did the actual work was far better than I could've hoped for. The work was scheduled promptly. Ken knew precisely what questions to ask me so his technician could come prepared. He quoted a price based upon my uneducated feedback to his questions and the final price was the one he quoted me on the phone. The technician was so nice and professional. He had to work near a hose of mine that I turned on not realizing it had a side-shoot of spray splattering him while I used it. He didn't miss a beat in performing the work. I felt terrible but he laughed it off. I highly recommend Park Place Screen and Glass regardless of what part of town you live in. Everyone at the company is "good people".
