Pacific Restoration

Mold was found in four different areas of the home.  These areas were sealed off and dehumidifiers ran 2 days and one negative air fan/air scrubber for 3 days.  Some kind of bio-decontamination-wash was used.  I was not living in the home at the time the work was done so couldn't answer the punctuality part.  The job took a little longer (a weekend) to Monday.
The drywall did matched in all the areas where work was done.  There was nothing or nobody living in the home when the work was done.  The carpet and pad upstairs and removed along with the baseboards (which I am having trouble replacing and nothing to do with this company).  We never did a walk-through after the work was done and I found a few minor things that needed to be addressed.  These were handled right away, and happily, by Andy himself.  The house was tested again and no mold was found.
Andy was prompt and courteous and I received a fast turn around for the costs.  His quote was mid-price against two other companies.  The only reason I gave "Responsiveness" a "B" was because Andy told me I would get a progress report (this was at the time I signed the contract) at the end of every day.  This was never done and I eventually called him three days after work began.  As I was out of the area this was an important item for me.. or maybe I could have made it more clear at this time... and I thought an "every day" call sounded excessive, but this is what I was told and it never happened.  (Hope I don't sound harsh.)
So in recap, everything else was great and if I ever have this problem again, I will definitely call Andy, at Pacific Restoration.

My husband and I just purchased our first home in San Diego. After crunching the numbers and comparing all of the estimates side-by-side, the choice was clear.
Andy O’Connor and his team were outstanding from the first inspection and estimate prior to us owning the home (we needed to get an estimate for the work in order to negotiate the sales price and get a full understanding of what we were getting ourselves into), all the way through to the completion of the project. They were responsive, meticulous, reliable, clear, communicative throughout, and provided quality work. They kept their promises, providing an on-time delivery, meeting our tight move-in deadline despite a few sizeable surprises that arose and additional renovation and remodeling projects we added along the way. Although my husband and I tried to be on-site for a portion of everyday throughout the project, each evening Andy would send us an email with a summary of the day’s progress, confirmation of any changes/decisions we all made that day, and an action plan for the remaining items, providing us a peace of mind that was priceless. The Pacific Restoration team was thorough and efficient with both our “need-to-do” list and also excelled in home remodeling with our “want” list. They even brain-stormed cost-effective solutions to some cosmetic and structural problems we thought we were stuck with. Judging from their impressive website and client list, I imagine our project wasn’t a complicated or huge project for them, but regardless, Andy and his team made us feel like we were a top priority. We cannot recommend them enough for San Diego home remodeling, water damage restoration, and general contractor work!
