It did take two hours longer than I was told when I left car.
My Service Representative, Manuel Quiroz was very attentive when I explained the problem. He was also concerned about
my schedule for the day. He called me promptly when the problem was found to give me the price to change the bulbs out. It was very reasonable. The whole experience took about half a day. I had my car back around 1:00 if I remember correctly..
The dealership also provides free shuttle service. Mike, their shuttle driver is great at juggling times and routes to minimize wait time and, he is always cheerful and ready for conversation..
Recommend that if you use the Pacific Honda Express Service for an oil change - arrive early in the morning. As the day goes on, the cars back up and the and quot;Expressand quot; service turns into a 2 hour wait or longer. If you arrive early in the morning, the maintenance should take no longer than 20-30 minutes.
When I got there, there were very friendly and courteous. I asked to see the vehicle that I wanted, but they said they did not have it and would need to get it from another dealership. This is pretty typical with dealerships to trade inventory for a specific car, so I was not worried about it. I did assume that they had the one I wanted on the lot from the phone call I had with them. I guess I should have asked specifically if the car I wanted was there.
Now we came down to discussing price and my experience went downhill quickly. The salesman said they could give me the car for X which was much higher then the price I was quoted on the phone. I told them what I was told and they said that I must be mistaken as they could never sell a car with the options I wanted for that low a price. Needless to say I was pretty upset. They then went with the we can get you car for that price lower trim level car. The also told me that there was no way one of their salesmen would quote me that low a price for the car I wanted - basically telling me I was lying to them. So they became very abusive and would not come down on the price for the car I wanted that they did not even have. At that point, I was feed up and decided we were through negoiating and left.
Interestingly, they did call me back a few days later. I asked about the car and the same person I talked with on the phone said that he would never quote me a price like he did. So either I mistakenly hear the wrong cost or he was quoting me a price for a different car. Needless to say, I was not happy with Pacific Honda and refuse to do business with them.
