They are good. I have not had any problems. For the recall, I only had to wait for them to get the part. When they do the oil change, you make an appointment.

It cost $450 for the part and $250 for the service. They told me that is just the way it is and that the car is made that way in Japan. They also were not capable of delivering it when they promised. I also am pretty sure that they charged me for learning to fix this particular part because it took a lot longer than it should have. My advice to others is not to go to them for anything but the express service. They seem to have the express lube service down okay.

I have bought my cars there and I have used them for years. I bought my car now in 2004 and I had the one before that for at least 20 years. I have always been very happy with them. They know what they are doing and they make honest estimates. They commit to what they say that they are going to do. They are very nice and they have always done very good work for me. When they make an estimate, that is actually what it costs you and they do not try charging you more money. The staff there is very pleasant. The price of a dealer is probably a little higher than other places but I know that they know what they are doing so I am willing to pay that. I have no problem with them and they are very available. If anything happens, you can pretty much get in there right away. I would absolutely continue using them in the future.

Ride feels better, brakes work. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Service rep got back to me quickly about all that was needed to be done.
It did take two hours longer than I was told when I left car.

Although I have always had good service from Pacific Honda's Service department, this recent experience is worth mentioning.
My Service Representative, Manuel Quiroz was very attentive when I explained the problem. He was also concerned about
my schedule for the day. He called me promptly when the problem was found to give me the price to change the bulbs out. It was very reasonable. The whole experience took about half a day. I had my car back around 1:00 if I remember correctly..
The dealership also provides free shuttle service. Mike, their shuttle driver is great at juggling times and routes to minimize wait time and, he is always cheerful and ready for conversation..

I used the express service because I just needed an oil change and tire rotation. Normal price for an oil change and oil filter, using synthetic oil, is $47.00. I was charged $42.00 due to free membership that I enrolled in.



Recommend that if you use the Pacific Honda Express Service for an oil change - arrive early in the morning. As the day goes on, the cars back up and the and quot;Expressand quot; service turns into a 2 hour wait or longer. If you arrive early in the morning, the maintenance should take no longer than 20-30 minutes.

Great. The response hereto is not for that service, but for the years of service (I have bought 2 cars there in the past and will continue to do so). I have a Pacific Honda card that allows me to have deep discounts in service and parts. I have been given good advice during all of the years as to what I should or should not be worried about. I have had nothing but great service for over 10 years!!

It was time to replace my wife's car, so I was looking into getting a Honda Accord. I have owned two other Honda cars (Accord, Civic and Acura TSX (made by Honda)) and all were excellent cars. I called them to ask if they had an Accord with the specific options I wanted. They did and they quoted me a price over the phone. I thanked them and went to the dealership the next day to take a look at it. I was intending to purchase it.
When I got there, there were very friendly and courteous. I asked to see the vehicle that I wanted, but they said they did not have it and would need to get it from another dealership. This is pretty typical with dealerships to trade inventory for a specific car, so I was not worried about it. I did assume that they had the one I wanted on the lot from the phone call I had with them. I guess I should have asked specifically if the car I wanted was there.
Now we came down to discussing price and my experience went downhill quickly. The salesman said they could give me the car for X which was much higher then the price I was quoted on the phone. I told them what I was told and they said that I must be mistaken as they could never sell a car with the options I wanted for that low a price. Needless to say I was pretty upset. They then went with the we can get you car for that price lower trim level car. The also told me that there was no way one of their salesmen would quote me that low a price for the car I wanted - basically telling me I was lying to them. So they became very abusive and would not come down on the price for the car I wanted that they did not even have. At that point, I was feed up and decided we were through negoiating and left.
Interestingly, they did call me back a few days later. I asked about the car and the same person I talked with on the phone said that he would never quote me a price like he did. So either I mistakenly hear the wrong cost or he was quoting me a price for a different car. Needless to say, I was not happy with Pacific Honda and refuse to do business with them.

They seem to do a very good job. They were the only one that had the size tire that I needed. The dealership seems to take a little more care and they give us a rental car so we can get our business done. They are a little more expensive. I would use this provider again.

Overall, my experience with them was very good. Their service as far as taking care of the car is concerned is excellent. I think that their check-in system is inefficient and does not take into consideration the individual driver when we come in to get our work done. I have been going there for a while. It is never very clear to me when I go there whether I am supposed to stay in my car or I am supposed to get out of my car and go to a window. It is not that the signage is not adequate, but it is not clear exactly what is to be done. It is their customer service that is not so good. It is not bad but it is just not what it could be. I used to go to another dealership and they were very efficient. Although the work took a while, I knew exactly where I was, how long I had to wait and everything. I knew what was going to happen very quickly, and it all took very little time to get me organized. I would use them again in the future.

They are great. My husband says theri service is great. Service department is open on Saturday. They even do soem services on Sunday. When I went to llk at the car, most car salesmen are a challaned, but the prerosn I delat with evry professionl, not pushy gave me room to decide withou being annyoing.

Unless you are ready to buy and from them, they don't want to spend any time with you explaining features of cars etc. The sales person was very rude. I have gone to them before, and each time, I had the same experience. I also see people walking with signs of bad service in the past. I won't go there again. I donot trust them even though they have been bought by Sun who own Kearny Mesa Toyota and Kearny Mesa Ford. I own a Ford now, but several years ago they were bought out by Sun. They lost all the records of my work, so I do not trust those dealerships that are owned by Sun. I had good experience with Poway Honda, Fuller Honda, Mission Valley Honda and Lemon Grove Honda. Don't know if any of these are associated with Sun Cars, but I would stay way from Pacific Honda dealer unless you wish to be treated rudely for wanting learn more about a Honda and go to one of the other Honda dealerships--just my two cents.

Honda Accord was due for 150K mile major service. Took car in and received estimate for $520. Service advisor called to inform me that oil pan was leaking (needed new gasket, $200+ cost) and that the timing belt needed to be replaced and might as well replace water pump at same time (approx $900 cost). Service advisor warned that broken timing belt might cause significant engine damage. I approved of oil pan gasket replacement with revised estimate of $760, but delayed timing belt pending second opinion due to significant potential expense. I took my car into another service center. They opened up my engine, looked at my timing belt, and even showed me the belt. They said the belt showed a little normal wear, but absolutely did not need replacement for at least another 20-30K miles. Timing belts are normally good for 90K miles. I have used Pacific Honda for many years without problems, but this event has given me serious doubts about whether I will use them again in the future.

I had to get my 60,000 mile service done on my 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. I took it to the dealer and it was several hundred dollars. They also had attempted to fix a shuttering clutch problem at acceleration from 0-15 mph. They charged me for the clutch problem, but a month later it was shown as a recall issue for the Civics. They were very nice and helpful in getting me the forms/information needed to issue a refund for the clutch work that was now covered under extended warranty/recall. I would go back to them.
