They use T and M solar for solar installs. I paid $29k for some roofing
and my 6 kw solar system. I thought I made a good choice. There were
some forgivable issues that came up and were figured out. Everyone was
satisfied with the end result. Until after the sale, that is where the
rubber meets the road or the wheels fall off.
You have to know more than they do to get it done right...so do your home work.
They
didn't tell me that my electrical panel would be using refurbished
parts...so after they installed the solar my electrical panel
failed...add another $1200 that could have been taken care of when the
solar was done.
I paid the roofers to install my solar attic fan and
they used T and M to verify that it was installed correctly and
working...no go; never has worked. I emailed and called them several
times to no avail.
Then after a month of trying to get them to come
out, they finally emailed me saying that I didn't pay to have it
installed (note; I did) and they want to charge me to come out to make
sure it's properly installed for $120. An electrician will charge $50-60
for a service call. I'm a past customer and they want to charge me more
than double the going rate for something they they didn't do properly
from the beginning?
They said that if it isn't properly installed
and it is there fault they will not charge me. Would you trust them to
come out and take the blame after what you have just read? I told them
forget it, I'll hire a professional electrician and happily pay someone
else to do the work right.
You get less than what you pay for with Pacific Coast Home improvement....good luck.

Response from Pacific Coast Home Improvement
"Our Company installed a solar attic fan (which was provided to us by [member name removed]). She called us months later to inform us that the fan was not working. I did my very best to explain that we would come out to look at it at no charge to her, and that if the problem was with the install there would be no charge. If the problem was with the fan then charges would apply and a new fan if needed would have to be supplied by her. We would still be happy to come look at it at no charge ( unless the product is defective). If there is any better way that we can help our company is open figure it out."
