They set up a tent and everything and I spent about $3000. The people who did the job was a different company. I asked Orkin about it and they weren't about to tell me much other than the name of the company. It seemed like they sub contracted them. The company asked me to send them a cheque for $90 and they insisted that they weren't sub contracted by Orkin. But the $3000 went to Orkin. There was a problem during the process of getting the tent over the house. The worker should have told me that it involved an extremely high risk of my roof being damaged. They didn't tell me to take down my satellite dish and I didn't have time to take it down and they ended up damaging the solar water heater on the roof and they damaged part of the hood of the chimney. Thy bent over my satellite dish and it got damaged and they said they could not pay me back for my dish and they talked about reimbursing me for my water heater but so far I haven't gotten a cheque from them. They talked about paying for half of the damage and I really wanted them to pay for the entire thing. It occurred to me in the contract that neither of the companies are responsible for damage to anything on the roof and they left it up to me to figure that out and I think that was important enough for them to bring that to my attention so they will be released from liability if anything happens.

They're very good, on time, and courteous. They're a reputable company. I like the intervals of service, the follow-up that they give, and the guarantee that they will come back for problems. They're well-known. I have a fine impression about their service.

They come on a monthly basis. They are fabulous! At the time I called around they are the one I got the best deal from and they were very nice, very professional. Their price is pretty reasonable. I actually have them for years now and they very nice, very polite.

Each one of the representatives has been fine in terms of information, knocking at the door, letting me know they are here, asking if anything they can do, and they are really careful.

They have lots of products. They prevent and prolong bugs and rodents from your house. I trust them as another company said they saw evidence of termites, however, Orkin did not.

They have a real good reputation, and I have seen their commercials all my life. When they came they were very knowledgeable, flexible, and professional. If I am not able to make it I can always reschedule them even if it is on a weekend. I really like that and they stand behind their guarantee.

I like that they are punctual. They come out on time. They come out four times a year. They have responded very well, when I have had any problems. I pay them every quarter. It cost me $60 a quarter. I haven’t had any problems with the bugs since I’ve been using them. I am grateful for that. I haven’t compared their prices to the others as I have been using them for a long time. I don’t think they are unreasonable. I am satisfied with them. I’ll definitely use them again in the future.

The inspector was very knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly explained what he found and showed me the problems areas. He provided me with written information about the the service and options available providing pros and cons. There was no pressure. I Googled to confirm the options and his recommendations and elected not to tent but to spray. The technician arrived on time along with the inspector who went over the various areas that he needed to work on. The technician did the work efficiently and he too took time to explain exactly what he would be doing and why. He, likewise, was a pro. Although this was the first time I have dealt with Orkin regarding termites, for the past several years I have contracted with them for regular pest control on apartment buildings I own in San Diego and likewise have always been satisfied with their work and professionalism. I have never a problem with them. They have been very responsive to my needs and the needs of the tenants.

The fact that I have not had any insects to pester me since they started treating says it all. They come on a regular basis and deal with everything. They will come, at no charge, if a problem does arise in between visits.

They did a good job and they used really good chemicals on my home. After the job was done, I didn't see any pests at all and I also thought the price was very reasonable. They were a big help and the technicians were great to work with.

Very mixed results. Orkin was thorough in their inspection, estimate and follow-up. More so than the 2 others I had give me an estimate. The price was in the mid to upper range of average. They gave me a modest discount from the estimated price. However, they sub-contract all their fumigation work. After the sub-contractor, Beneficial Exterminating Inc. of 5135 West Rosecrans Ave, Hawthorne, CA, was done I noticed tile missing from my roof. Yet no tile on the ground. They apparently cleaned it up and didn't tell me. Pay very careful attention to their instructions about securing your food and your valuables. You may be sorry if you don't. There remains an outstanding issue with this company that cannot be elaborated upon due to legal considerations. I wrote and complained to Orkin and let them know I would be making an Angie's List report, yet they haven't contacted me. Hence, the mixed results report.
