Workers were prompt, tidy, and personable. They were easy to work with and the quality of their work was excellent. They obviously are very experienced since the end result was beautiful and done in a timely manner. I would definitely hire them again for any tile work.

There were numerous problems associated with this work.
1) After the work, the inside kitchen cabinets were very dirty. The contractor did not cover the kitchen area to prevent the dust.
2) The workers walked all over the hardwood floor. It was filthy after the job was complete.
3) A circuit breaker in the main electrical panel needed replacement during the work. It needed to be replaced while they were using the tile cutter in the garage. This is apparently was not their fault. I didn't charge them to get it fixed but in my opinion that it definitely was.
I rated the price as lousy because if I'm going to pay this much for this work, I expected a little bit more professionalism.

David Tarte gave us an estimate and made several suggestions for improvements that we ended up adopting. Work started on time and finished only a couple of days later than anticipated (it lasted close to 3 weeks). Alfredo was in charge of the project. He was knowledgeable and extremely hard working and conscientious. He communicated with us every step of the project, keeping us informed as to what to expect next. Alejandro and Ignatio worked along with him and were also hard working, pleasant and thorough. The courtesy and professionalism of the team were truly exemplary. John who did the plumbing was very experienced and professional. We are very happy with the result of their work. Our master bathroom is beautiful and the work in the kitchen has been an overall improvement.
After completion of the work, we had a couple of small issues which David resolved promptly and courteously. New Image Tile is an very good company and we would recommend them to our friends.

David came out, took measurements, and went over the work to be done. He explained how the window would be roughed in, and the water proofing process. He addressed all my questions and concerns. His was not the cheapest estimate I received, but he impressed me with the explanations on what was required to do the job right I had a tight time line due to helping my parents move, and family arriving for the holidays. He was willing to work with me on a schedule, and even offered to start early on two occasions, but I was unable to accept. His crew was very professional and completed the job on schedule. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. They did an outstanding job with the accent tiles around the corners.

We were having a hard time finding a contractor for our small job. I got in touch with David and he was extremely helpful. All I had to do was send him some photo's and measurements and he gave me a rough estimate over the phone. It came in under that estimate as his guys were able to do it under the time he expected. He was nice enough to have them work it in with another job that had going in the area. Thanks David!

Based on the reviews posted on Angie's List, I invited David and half dozen licensed tile installers to visit my home to give me estimates. Not many tile installers have installed plank style porcelain tiles with a very tight 1/16and quot; grout joint using expoxy grout. I gave David the job because he was the only one who could show me the plank style porcelain tile floor his crews had installed using epoxy grout. After my wife and I visited his job site a couple of times, we were convinced that David's crew could get the job done well. The other tile installed installed plank style porcelain tile floor many years ago. But he didn't use epoxy grout and couldn't show us the tile work he had done using epoxy grout.
Based on the reviews written by other New Image Tile customers, I asked David to send Sergio and his helper Javier to do the job. Sergio and Javier came to my house, waited outside and then come in to start working at 7:30 in the morning. Sergio was a very smart tile setter who had many years of experience. Every tile was set precisely and every cut was done perfectly. Sergio did an excellent job to reset 16 pieces of existing tiles in the hallway to create a seemless transition between the laudry room entry and bashroom entry.Javier was a hardworking helper who alway worked with a smile. Javier did an excellent job of replacing the old toilets with new toilets. He and Sergio also did an excellent job cleaning the floors while they were grouting the tiles with epoxy grout. Because the working time for the epoxy grout was about one hour, the crew had to finish grouting within the time limit.
Javier and Sergio came on time every day, worked very hard, and kept the job site clean for 8 days in a row. The newly installed tile floors look very beautiful and are easy to maintain. My wife and I can not be more happier with the outcome. Our visitors have been very impressed by the new floors as well. We recommend David and his crew men Sergio and Javier highly without reservation.

I contacted David of New Image Tile and he came over to discuss the project, give me some suggestions, and measured. He emailed me with an estimate. I changed the tile I had originally chosen, we discussed the difference in price, and decided on a start date. His crew (Alfredo and Alejandro) arrived promptly each morning, were very polite and hardworking, and cleaned up after themselves each day. His plumber John worked efficiently to move plumbing valves, replace old pipe with new copper, I don't think the project or workmanship could have gone any better. My husband says the new shower is the best he's ever used!

The job was first rate from start to finish.  David came when he said he would, discussed all aspects of the job, posed questions about what I wanted, that I had not considered.  Please understand, that I am a class 1 control freak and had purchased the tile, and had drawn up exactly what design I wanted for each area.  David graciously accepted my designs, gently pointed out where they might not work, and provided alternatives that kept the project just the way I wanted it. The job included porcelain tile for the floor, limestone and onyx (stones) of varying sizes for the seperate tub and shower enclosures with a resin tile border.  There were corners, windows and custom tubs his staff had to work around.  The bathroom was on the second floor and had been water damaged and repaired below code by the previous owner.  Mr. Tarte (David) planned to make sure  the new floor  would be stable and waterproof to my specifications.  He did this at an onsite meeting before with myself and the contractor to be sure everyone was on the same page.  (Again rare in the building trades- but critical to a job going smoothly when more than one building crew is involved.)
Next, He introduced me to two of his crew.  One of whom spoke both English and Spanish and a second worker whose English was limited.  ( I had specified to my contractor that no illegal aliens, or uninsured laborers were to be used on the job, so both workers were legal, and insured.)  The workers were meticulous in their set ups to be sure their materials did not soil any portion of my home inside and out.  They were equally meticulous in their clean up each day, so that the areas not under construction were immaculate.  When their part of the job was completed, there was no mess left behind at all, and the excess materials were neatly stacked where I specified. They came when they said (not always true with the building trades)  and worked really hard the whole time.  It was summer so I was in the home for almost all of the work.  They tolerated my kids and dog pestering them with grace and good humor.
The final job is gorgeous!  ANY TIME I need tile done, I will use New Image Tile again.  Bravo! 

We had New Image Tile install the exact same flooring in another bathroom several years ago. The quality of the work and the professionalism of the team was the best so we went with them again for this project. Everything went very smoothly. The guys working at the house, Sergio and Javier, were considerate of our schedule and they go out of their way to lay down plastic and tarps to avoid making any mess as they pass over the carpet, going back and forth to cut tile and bring in materials. The floor is beautiful and we are very happy to have had them doing the job for us. Sergio is an artist who really knows what he is doing when laying out a pattern with natural stone.

David and his crew were fantastic. They were always on time and very professional. I am very happy with the work that they did. David and his crew are perfectionists. They took their time to make sure that the job was done right and always cleaned up after each workday.

David is very professional. He and his team of employees were punctual and did a great job. They cleaned up very well after themselves. David does not use subs.

They were very good. It was a small job and they fit me in when they could. They arrived when they said they would. He didn't do a quote in advance but their service was excellent.

I was pleased with everything. He did a good job; he's very thoughtful. He really understands his whole business from beginning to end. He was careful and did a great job.

Excellent company to work with. Very professional and experienced. Workers were very considerate in keeping dirt and dust to a minimum and cleaning up after themselves each day. David gave us quote and gave the option of some additional touches that we hadn't thought of but those little extras made a huge difference and we really love how it all turned out.
