MBK - My Bath and Kitchen

Overall we had a very good experience, they showed on time and if they were not going to be on the job they let us know right away. Our project turned out beautifully.

Joey and his crew from MBK renovated and upgraded two and a half bathrooms for us. Joey first assisted us with design and purchases. His crew then did demolition, dry walls, floor and shower walls tiling, upgrading the vanity, shower and tub areas, lights, plumbing, electrical work and painting. Joey supervised the work daily, making sure that the work met the highest level standards. He was very open to feedback and requests along the time, and interacted with us in the most kind, patient, professional and cooperative manner. We are very pleased with the outcome, and strongly recommend hiring MBK if you are interested in high quality work, competent workers, excellent customer service, timeliness, and the feeling that the company really cares about you.

When my husband and I were looking for contractors to remodel our 3 bathrooms, I googled bathroom remodels and found MBK. After my first meeting with Joey, I knew he and his company were the ones we wanted. He took the time to sit down with us and describe the scope of his work and what we could expect from him. He's extremely friendly and personable which is something that was important to us since we knew we'd be seeing a lot him. MBK not only did the construction, but Joey helped me with the design which is something I desperately needed since I didn't really have a good vision of what I wanted. Joey made suggestions, helped me choose the items for the bathrooms and even met me at the tile store to help me select the tile. His employees were extremely polite and responsive and always cleaned up after themselves after working at our house all day. They completed the project in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. Joey came by our house almost every day to check on things and make sure things were running smoothly. If I ever decided to make a last-minute change, Joey accommodated me and took care of it. An example of this is when the guys started the construction on our master bathroom. After they had almost completed the demo, I decided I wanted a new window in the bathroom. I told Joey and the very next day, his guys cut out the wall to fit the dimensions of the new window, bought the window from Home Depot and it was installed almost immediately. We are extremely pleased with the final result and I constantly get compliments on our new bathrooms. We would hire Joey and his company again and we're hoping to have them remodel our kitchen next. He gets my highest recommendation.

I just finished a kitchen remodel with MBK and had an overall great experience. After many years of putting this remodel aside , Covid really changed the reality of the time we are now spending at home (My husband is permanently working from home now). I received bids from several general contractors to give the kitchen a much needed work with original cabinets, counters, and flooring. We were referred from neighbors that just finished a bathroom remodel with MBK. We interviewed 4 Contractors but after meeting Joey the Project manager I felt most confident with his professionalism, confidence and personality. We received a very impressive proposal and it wasn't the cheapest nor the highest bid we received. We signed with MBK and started the design process that took roughly 4 weeks and we picked and purchased all the materials together. The construction took roughly 6-8 weeks. Joey was very good with explaining the process and expectations. There were a few hiccups during the remodel (house built 1957) but the construction crew were very accommodating and found creative solutions. Overall super happy with the result and really now that I have been through a pretty big remodel I understand how important it is to pick a good remodeling company. Will recommend to anyone in need for a remodel to at least talk to Joey.
