Their service was excellent , every was done as they promised. They were prompt and everything was upfront with no extra charges. They even changed the size of the truck to help us move it at no extra fee.

I just read the report I submitted when an Angie's List representative telephoned me and conducted a survey which she recorded.  First, I stated that I could not recommend the Mayflower/Allied Lines Company that handled our move from Oklahoma to California.   As indicated in my initial oral report, we had significant damage and minor damage to several items of furniture.  For example, an occasional chair had broken cane on one side of the chair, a hole was made in the cane top of an end table, the top of the guest bedroom chest of drawers was ruined, our fabric loveseat had a 6" gash on one side of it, our mattress and box springs had black marks on them, etc.... Our mistake was not taking out additional insurance; we had only the minimum coverage.  That being said, if the movers had done their job properly, we shouldn't have needed additional insurance. 

The claims process was handled quickly and efficiently, but I am still angry that we paid over $8,000 (not $800) to store our furniture only to have to replace many items once the furniture arrived in California. 

I told the Angie's List representative who phoned me that I could not recommend the Oklahoma Mayflower movers.
