Work quality was substandard; over-charged; charged multiple times for the same items and/or work; had to spend an additional $250,000 to correct defective work; entered into mediation to recover costs, prevailed, but have been unable to collect because Lusk has since dissolved his corporation under the contractor's license number he was using at the time. BEWARE!

Steve was recommended by another contractor I trusted but who wasn't able to do my job due to other obligations. He's very friendly, and gave a reasonable estimate for the remodel. We have a very old house which needed a lot of work, and he and his team were great the whole time. The did the work very well and in a very timely fashion, and we're very happy with the "new" old house.

Turned into a very expensive estimate. Mr. Lusk visited with us and gave very vague approximations of what the job would cost. Based on work of his we had seen, we paid him $5000 to develop plans and give a more exact price. We decided not to work with him as his initial vague estimate was about $50,000 less than his proposed price for our job.
