"Thank You [Member Name Removed]. I enjoyed working with you during our two hour consult."
"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. I believe you were writing about the Landscape Contractor you hired to install my design. Happy it worked out so well for you."
"[Member Name Removed], Thank You so much. I really enjoyed problem solving with you for our brief consultation. A collaborative effort often yields great results. I look forward to hearing of your success with the new plant material we chose."
Steven brought pictures and books of various plantings, and used his vast knowledge of landscape design to advise on which plants would do well, given the amount of sunlight, and keeping in mind my desire for low maintenance. We also discussed cobble stone placement as well.
The final plan included a list of plants, scale, and placement of everything. My yard is not very big, and he provided me with a list of landscapers who are experts in smaller jobs.
Using our preferred color palette, he selected and sited plants, suggested replacement hardscaping, and solved the design problems of our entrance-way courtyard. We now have a very detailed plan that can be submitted to the contractors he recommended we get bids from.
He gets our highest recommendation!
I bought a $150 big deal for this service and he was a good guy. I upgraded the service when he was here. He was a very personable person, was easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable.
"These two hour consultations often leave the customer wanting more. It is challenging at times to create a design that satisfies a homeowner (who may have their own difficulties in making decisions in such a brief amount of time). I therefore am no longer offering this service and will concentrate on clients who wish to engage me to create a full Master Plan."
We received a wonderful scale size sketch of a plan with suggested planting materials and landscape design. We are very happy with the time and service. He comes with our highest recommendations and we would look forward to working with him to help bring the master plan to life. Thank you Steven Letz Design! AAA+++
"(removed member name), Thank you for your glowing review. I always enjoy the two hour consultation process. It was so helpful that you were able to provide information in advance. Please let me know if I can assist further. Steven Letz"
"Thank you for the review. It's always a pleasure to offer suggestions with the two hour consultation. I hope to hear how it all works out in the future."
"[member name removed] purchased a two hour consultation with a rough sketch for his small front yard in San Diego. I met at the scheduled time and we reviewed numerous choices of plant materials and the clients responded favorable to a rough layout. After the two hour meeting, I then returned to my office to generate a type written plant list and a more legible drawing which took another 90 minutes (unpaid). I sent all the information back to the client the same day. [member name removed] did have a few follow up questions regarding contractors, soil, etc. and I responded with the needed information. I am unclear if I did not meet this client's expectation. A two hour consultation is just that. It is not meant to be a Master Plan which typically takes 5 to 10 hours of my time. I will have to contact this client to learn how I could have been more professional or provided more quality in this two hour time frame."
"Thank you for your review and compliments. I always find these two hour consultations to be very rewarding. I wish you luck with your outdoor improvements."
We looked on Angie's List for someone to help us with a plan. We decided on Steven Letz Design Landscape, 5364 Adams Ave.San Diego, CA 92115 - (619) 265-1906.
The work is currently being completed by San Diego Paverscape (July 2012). Luis Vindel and his crew are bringing Stephen's plan to life.
Steven met with us three times to help develop the plan and really hear our ideas and concerns. We really did not know what we were doing and without this plan the work would have never been completed. One of the great things about having a plan is when your contact people to bid on the work they know what you want and then you really have an "apples to apples" bid.
Steven's final plan was complete and incorporated things that my wife and I wanted in the yard. Steven created a yard (front and back) that looks great, is drought tolerant and even has plants that the gophers do not like as much as others.
We would recommend you contact Lentz Design Landscape if you need a professional to help you put together a great plan.
