Professional. Got the camera back on time. Works great

No pain at all. Knew exactly what was wrong. Very pleasing experience. I've been using the D300 on a professional level for over a year after the repair and no problems at all. This is my new go-to team for any time I need this sort of service.

I have had a number of cameras and lenses repaired at Kurt's. They are better than my camera manufacturer's repair service. They do better quality work and their service is personalized. They answer any and all questions, are honest, and will save parts for you if asked. The service at Kurt's Camera Repair is better quality than the manufacturer's warranty repairs that I've had done in the past. Prior to Kurt's, my experience has been with Canon and Nikon factory repair, and I prefer Kurt's.

They got it done in a timely manner. They got it fixed up and there were no problems after that.

Overall a positive interaction. The only reason I gave them a B for professionalism was that when I dropped of my camera, they accidentally gave me the receipt for another person's camera. I partially take the blame because I didn't really look at it to notice that it was for a different camera, but when I went back to pick up my camera this created a lot of confusion. Luckily they were able to locate mine eventually and everything turned out OK in the end.

Fast service. No cost. Who could ask for anything more?

Lens would not retract on my Sony digital camera. Sony wanted $185 and said there was no repair facility in California and I would have to send it to a company in Conn. Kurtz repaired the camera for $98 plus parts and had the camera ready on time, two weeks from when I dropped it off.

PRETTY GOOD REPAIR, HOWEVER, WHEN I RETRIEVED THE CAMERA, THEY HAD FAILED TO RECONNECT ONE OF THE LEVERS ON THE CAMERA. REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION.

VERY PLEASANT. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I USED THEIR SERVICE. THE OTHER TIME WAS TO REPAIR MY CANNON ELPH CAMERA WHICH THEY DON'T MAKE ANYMORE. THEY FIXED MY SONY CAMERA TO NEW CONDITION AGAIN AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. THEY EVEN REPLACED A SWITCH ON MY ELPH CAMERA AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME.

THEY GAVE ME A GOOD BID FOR REPAIR. JOB TOOK ABOUT 2 WEEKS TO COMPLETE. IT WAS WORTH IT SINCE THE CAMERA WORKS LIKE NEW.

THE WORK THEY DID WAS FINE AND WHAT THEY CONTROLLED WAS ON TIME, BUT THEY HAD TO ORDER A PART FROM NIKON AND IT TOOK MONTHS TO GET IT. (I'M VERY UNHAPPY WITH NIKON, BUT THE FOLKS AT KURTS WERE FRIENDLY AND APOLOGETIC ABOUT THE DELAYS.)

THEY WERE THE ONLY CAMERA REPAIR SHOP IN TOWN. THEY LOOKED AT THE CAMERA WHILE I WAS THERE AND CALLED ME IMMEDIATELY WITH A QUOTE, ONCE THEY HAD DETERMINED WHAT WAS WRONG. THE CAMERA WAS WELL OVER $500, SO THE PRICE WAS A GREAT DEAL CHEAPER THAN BUYING NEW.
