I would use them again. I have for 20 years.

I am always there. The doctor really cares about the animals, the follow-up is great, and they offer alternative medicines. I have Chinese herbs, and human medicines. I am finding ways to keep them healthy and happy without a lot of drugs. Patricia Unger is the head of the practice. I think everything went well and everything is working. They are pricey, and I have to go to two specialist. It's sometimes hard to get into an appointment, it's a very busy practice. If I have an appointment it's fine, but in an emergency it's problematic. I travel 20 miles to go see them. I go to there because of the service, confidence, and they know what they are doing. If they don't know the answer they will tell me, and they will call a specialist if needed. They don't act like they know everything.

Although I had heard great word of mouth on this place, I was still really pleased. Dr. Jordan is a cat whisperer. She comes into the room and talks to the cat in her carrier and strokes her for a bit before the exam, and truly has a magic touch during the exam. (The cat, who had howled since leaving home, was suddenly quite placid.)
She and the assistant explained everything. Unlike the last vet i went to, they don't push all kinds of vaccines and procedures that may enhance their bottom line but that your pet may not really need. They also discuss holistic/alternatives when available. I live several neighborhoods away from Kensington, but the schlep is worth it. There's also parking in back, which is nice. I earlier brought in my other cat for an emergency treatment; he ended up with Dr. Valdez, who is not a cat specialist but who was also great. Even more impressive, the office called me several times after I brought the cat in to ask how he was doing.

I love Kensington Vet! I have been going there for the last several years. They are punctual with very little wait time. They are responsive and call you back quickly. The quality of care is excellent. These folks love my animals and take excellent care of them. I appreciate their willingness to give options for both western medicine and holistic treatments. I highly recommend!

I have been taking my pet there for several years. Things have gone down hill in the past year. I have looked for other providers. Unfortunately, they still seem to be the best choice. No longer the standout choice.

My 15 year old terrier has cataracts and an eye inffection. He was diagnosed and eye drops were prescribed which has helped. Two follow up appts are included in the price. The vet explaned the conditon and the over all experience was very pofessional and congenial.

They are compassionate and clean. They are friendly and would do anything that has to be done. I have found nothing wrong with them.

I've been taking my pets to Kensington for years. The staff are warm, professional, knowledgeable and thorough and this visit was no exception. They performed all the routine examines and lab work I would have expected and found a slight ear infection which did require treatment. KV is certainly not the least expensive place to take your pets, and sometimes the variety of tests suggested seem excessive (and expensive) but the doctors and other staff are always willing to talk with you about suggested testing and treatment and will work with you to help you decide on a course of action that is reasonable. I think that in an age of semi-ubiquitous health care, we lose sight of how much health technologies cost and so seeing pet health care costs without the filter of health insurance can be shocking. Sometimes I think about finding a vet whose prices might be less, but then as soon as one of my animals need care, I'm always back at Kensington... because I trust them.

They are wonderful to work with and they are extremely patient with the animals. What I paid for the procedure was inexpensive and they are really good about analyzing everything. I highly recommend their service.

They are the best. I have been using them for 18 years and there have never been any problems. They always answer my questions and are so compassionate with the animals. The whole office has a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly and professional. I like them a lot.

My cat was seventeen years old. She was put to sleep. She was very old. They were very kind. They were very professional throughout the whole situation. They are very nice people. I now go there with my new pets.

Kensington is fantastic. They are kind, considerate, and love animals. The vet is sensitive and skilled and everyone there is bright and caring. I would not go anyplace else.

Our dog had developed an allergy and we took him to his usual vet at Kensington Veterinary Hospital. As usual, they took great care of our dog, prescribing an antibiotic and his quite well now. We definitely recommend them.

I like their service very much and they share a great deal of compassion for the animals that they service. One thing is unique about the place is that all the veterinarians are all women doctors and I thought that was neat. I have been going here for quite awhile and I will continue to use their service.

I really like the fact that they can always handle us on a short notice, either the day we call or the day after. They really care a lot about the animals and the people who bring them in. They are very friendly as well.

I have been using them for quite some time now and I think that they are really good. They helped us find out what was wrong with our cat and did a very good job treating her and letting us know what we could do to help her get better.

Kensington has been really great to us and our dog. They may not be the cheapest in town but they are the best. They seem to get to us promptly and take good care of my pet.

The vets and staff at Kensington are very nice and professional. They do blood tests because they are concerned with your dog s health. All in all they are very convenient for me and I would recommend them.

This involved 2 visits to the vet. The 1st was an urgent visit. The vet we saw, Dr. Michelle Mason, was very nice and ran tests and gave me capsules to give Cammie. I have been giving pills to cats for over 30 years, and this is the hardest one I have ever had to deal with, a real tiger when it comes to medication, although a nice cat otherwise. The diarrhea stopped before I gave her the 1st capsule, but I forced them down her as instructed, which was a nightmare for both Cammie and me. A little over a week later I took her back for the follow-up and her regular physical. I also had ''Soft Paws'' applied to her nails, as she sometimes scratches furniture. Again we saw Dr. Mason, who did all the usual tests and physical exam. She gave Cammie a clean bill of health. We are still awaiting the results of the titer test which checks her antibodies to see if she needs to have any of her vaccinations repeated. As always, except for the expense, dealing with this vet practice was pleasant.

This is a really, really good full service Vet office. The staff is exceptional and experienced. This group of people should be supported in their business. If you like your Pet, you should be comfortable taking your pet to this Vet office. Also, starting to appreciate the Holistic field in Veterinary medicine.

THE PERSONNEL AT THE HOSPITAL ARE HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE, COURTEOUS AND HOLISTIC IN THEIR APPROACH. I FEEL VERY SECURE WITH MY PETS IN THEIR CARE. THEY ALL SEEM TO LOVE THEIR WORK.
