 + -1 moreThe work was done over a two-day period at the price he quoted when he gave his estimate. Unfortunately, I am elderly and don't recall what the total cost was. He brought all the necessary tools, e.g., ladder, hanging instruments, and hardware. Everything was tidy when he left. We have just asked him to assist us in the hanging of three paintings, one sculpture, and a set of relatively heavy decorative mirrors and are confident the project will turn out well.
Description of Work: John Stoup, the owner of Art Services, hung all the artwork in our home -- nothing huge, nothing tiny. Heaviest was ~20 pounds. About 21 pieces in all. The work was absolutely first-rate. He had a number of suggestions as to where particular items of art should and shouldn't go, and where and how it should be placed, all of which were excellent. If you've ever hung art work, you know how difficult it is to end up with a given piece being hung well, at the right height, with the proper relationship to other art, etc. John knows this stuff and explains his suggestions well. Just do it like he says and it will turn out well.
