John's Landscape Solutions

I contacted John from John's Quality Landscaping on a Tuesday to set-up an estimate.  He came out to my house that Saturday to accommodate my work schedule and provided a free estimate.  We discussed removal of broken and dead trees that covered a steep hill in my backyard, as well as, trimming a large tree in my backyard and front yard that were overgrown and reviving my dead lawn.  He was very helpful and knowledgeable and offered additional assistance with pruning my roses that had been neglected by my previous landscapers and checking that all my sprinklers were working properly.  He originally quoted the entire project for $1850 which I found a great deal if you could see how many dead trees were on my hill.  He came out with his crew the following week and completely finished all the work on my hill in one day.  I was informed that many of my sprinklers were broken and some of the water lines were not hooked up properly.  He charged me an additional $350 for parts, but again I thought this was very reasonable for all the extra work and care they took in making sure everything was running properly.  They completed everything the next day and even set-up the automatic timer for my sprinklers so I didn't have to figure it out.  They were very efficient and left the property very clean with no mess for me to clean up. 

John and I also discussed planting a few flowers to give my yard some color since I am putting my house up for sale, and bi-weekly maintenance until my house sold.  He told me his son took care of that and had him contact me the next week.  His son, John, owner of John's Landscape Solutions, came out on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule and discuss what I wanted done.  He sent me pictures the next week of options for various flowers so I could pick out what I preferred.  The next day he planted a palm tree and beautiful flowers around my pond in the backyard, which really made it beautiful.  He also planted some snapdragons in the front yard and covered up an exposed pipe that was an eye sore.  He was very helpful and even made sure to save me money on the cost of the palm tree and flowers.  The job was completed in less than 2 hours.  He is going to continue my routine yard maintenance.  It has been only a few weeks and not only does my yard look beautiful, but my grass is actually green again!!  I would highly recommend both companies for all your landscaping needs.  It is very refreshing to find landscapers that are experienced and knowledgeable about plants and trees and offer advice when needed.

He did a very good job. He probably in the beginning regret the fact that he over height all that he could do at the price that he was offering because at the end I could tell he was kind of like, "You can't ask me to do anything more". But it was all his doing. At the end, he was starting to say, "Well, I can't do all those stuff". Everything that he did do, he did very well. The only problem that I have there is that he brought all the artificial grass with him when I first met him. He was saying they're all American made, we'll get them all very quickly whichever one you pick. But, the one I picked, he said that the supplier that he was going to get the grass from had a role, but it just didn't fit my backyard because it was too small. He said I had to wait a long time because it ends up coming from China. So, I had to wait several weeks to actually put in.
