JL Stucco

He provided work for me last January of 2015 and by November of 2016 the stucco are starting to bubble up, I called him back and he fixed it but by January 2017 it started to bubble up again. I started to contact him on the beginning of 2018 but he is not responding and leads me to look for another company.

The stucco job on 10/1/2016 was a pretty good match, and everything seemed fine until we started getting heavy rain. The waterproofing that had been done by the window installers was apparently compromised during the subsequent installation of the frame and/or stucco by JL Stucco, leading to severe leaks in two of the three windows. In addition, JL Stucco did not honor my request to provide me with an invoice upon completion of the work (I only have the canceled check as proof), and they have ignored multiple requests to come out and inspect the leaks (March 2017).

He was great.  They came out within a couple of days.  He told me how much and then did it slightly differently in a way that he said wouldn't cost as much but it just turned out it didn't cost him as much I still owed him as much as the quote.  It was more work than $99 would have covered.  He repaired stucco and put in the weeping that wasn't there.  If he would charge me less I would give him an A.  He was done in about half the time he said but he still charged me what he quoted me for two more hours of work.  I would use him again.  The quality was excellent.  I would tell other to get a specific bid.

Jose was punctual and very professional.  He was careful not to damage landscaping near the areas he worked on and the end result was a perfect match with the surrounding stucco.  Cant's say enough good things about the quality of service and Jose's excellent communication throughout the day.

I enjoyed having Mr. Montano work on my house as he and his helpers were very professional and afterwards, cleaned up after themselves. Neighbors drove by and would stop to comment on the how much better the house was looking.

They did a pretty good job.  It is hard to match the color but they did the best they could.  They were fine.  We schedule the appointment and got right out.  They did the job as expected.  They showed up and did what I asked.  They didn't take very long.

He did a great Job

The job, done very carefully and properly required six man hours including preparation, adding a new undercoat of premix cement, letting that dry sufficiently and then mixing the new coatings to properly color match the adjacent wall space and applying the new color coating and letting it set up and dry so that the smooth finish could be completed. There is a required "wait time" between the coatings so that all the material will adhere properly and then the smooth finish is done. I was very happy to write an additional check to cover the extra time needed to do the job.

The job was on time, and on budget. The job site was cleaned and all waste was removed. I was very happy with the work. The neighbors have commented on how good the repairs look.

When I originally met with him he was only going to patch one hole, however he came to do the work earlier than planned when I wasn't home and my husband pointed out about 4 other spots that needed patching..Jose and his helper did a beautiful job all within the realm of angies 2 hour deal. I couldn't be happier. I hope to have him back to do 2 door frames that need stucco when I can afford it.  Thank you again Jose!!

It was excellent. They got back to me really quick. There were additional charges. It was $100 extra. They did a very thorough job. He was very conscientious about explaining what he was going to do and why it had been done. They fixed it just fine. I was really pleased with them. They did a great job.
