Dac Vo was rather brusque, & I didn't take to him much, but we were in a hurry to get the work done, & Mark Ho "guaranteed" his work. Dac Vo promised to remove not only the trees, but also the roots. He was barely here himself while the work was being done. He dropped off two workers who were unbelievably fast & hard-working, but who didn't speak English, which caused some problems. They got the trees out in about 3 hours. They removed only part of the roots. Digging in those spots to plant new trees is going to be very difficult. They damaged our courtyard tiles & the walkway on the neighbors' side of the fence. The neighbor was very angry about that. With difficulty, I got Dac Vo to return, but he refused to repair the neighbor's walkway, which would have been an easy task since it is just bricks set in sand and gravel. "Not my job," he said.
