In the beginning we played phone tag, which was mostly my fault. After we connected and set the appointment she came out and was very helpful with suggestions and ideas. Lots of enthusiasm. She composed a list of things that she would do and told us she would get back to us in a week with next steps and costs. 4 months later...crickets. Not only was it a waste of time, but a waste of money. I prepaid her services and got nothing out of it.

Jill made suggestions as to paint color, wood laminate flooring and rug selection. She arranged purchase of rug and ordering and installation of flooring. It looks great and I’ve gotten many compliments. I am going to call Jill again for help with bedrooms.

Jill was very professional and helpful by giving us a range of choices for fireplace materials and also by drawing out how the materials would might look for each fireplace. She brought samples of materials she thought would blend with and enhance the look of our home. We were very pleased with her warm and friendly demeanor and guidance. She was never pushy, but always tried to guide us to what she perceived we would like. She also arranged for the contractor, tile person, fireplace firm and the company that made and installed all the new window treatments. The persons that worked with her to complete the work on our home were all very professional, and real craftsman at what they did The finished projects have exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be more pleased. We felt very fortunate to have found someone of Jill's deep integrity and professionalism to work with and would definitely recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for help in interior design.

Excellent. Jill had great ideas for maximizing our space by moving furniture, paintings, mirrors, adding an accent rug, pillows, reorganizing shelves, etc. Her most helpful advice was on what NOT to do. E.g., I had considered putting a mirror wall in one room, painting the inside of shelves to try to add depth, adding a large accent piece on the wall going up my stairs. Her advice on use of negative space and color continuity was incredibly helpful. And Jill had the best "roomside" manner. She was expert, but not pushy. She listened and considered my ideas and explained why she was making each of her recommendations. Even my husband said she was worth every penny!

Jill was amazing. She answered every question and explained 'why' as well. We discussed a possible kitchen remodel and her suggestions and ideas were spot on! We went though my entire house quickly and throughly. Jill is friendly, very easy to talk with and seems to me just the kind of professional I'd choose to work with on a larger project.

Jill gave me some good ideas about possible new items but also advice on how to rearrange the things I already have. She is very flexible and I liked that she encouraged me to keep many pieces that I still like. She is now doing the legwork to find new hardwood flooring that must match the existing flooring II already have in other rooms, which is no longer available.

I had prepared a list prior to Jill coming to the house so she would have an idea of what I wanted done in each room. I told her on the phone that I had prepared a list of items that I wanted her feedback on. She said to email it to her. When she got here we were able to really go through my list and helped clarify what we could be doing now. So, at that point my number one item was to take wallpaper off the bathroom walls. She made two referrals for someone to do that and I followed up and hired one of them to do the work. He was excellent! By giving her the list and going over it with her I prioritized the jobs. I had various jobs and our house is old and we had been here a while. I wasn't completely sure where I wanted to start. So, by talking it through with her it geled for me.

Our remodel project started in February and was completed in August - it was a big project. Jill never wavered, she kept on top of the contractors, sometimes having to call and recall to demand the work be complete in a timely manner and she demanded quality. If something was not done to her standards it was re-done. She checked in with us weekly, often coming up just to look and make sure all was going well. She did a great job, she took a huge load off of my husband and I and the results are amazing - beautiful.

Very well. Jill Herman is very personable, a good listener, understood what we wanted and needed and provided excellent feedback and suggestions. The short-term project is upgrading the master bathroom and is providing information and assistance with various services we may need. We were quite pleased with Jill and we are maintaining an ongoing connection for other projects. Currently she is putting together plans for our review relating to other home projects. We connected with Jill via a Groupon offer of $85 for up to two hours of consulting.

Jill and her assistant were great and noticed small details that would never have occurred to me to pay attention to. She suggesting moving some furniture to a different room and gave ideas for my back den, which was completely empty and unfurnished. She also suggested color ideas for an area rug and for side tables and stools. I have already gotten to work to get some things she suggested, but will not hesitate to call her again for more help!

I've saved a lot of money over the years using their services so I buy things that go with my house. I pay them for their talent as well as their time and advise. They are easy to work with. They both have an eye that I don't have. I've used Gina for about 8 years. I going to use them again soon for help in my master bedroom.

We were very pleased with the results. Jill helped us maximize the impact of our existing assets, just by re-thinking their placement and how they were being utilized. It was pretty amazing - I never would have thought to do some of the things she suggested!! The revamped living spaces are now some of the favorite areas in our home. The whole process was easy and actually quite fun. Jill is great to work with, friendly and down-to-earth. There was zero pressure or heavy sales vibe. Their standard rate is $95/hour, which I felt was reasonable. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Every thing went great. Jill was very patient with us. She created a floor plan for us before we moved (then we took some time moving in and getting settled). After a little bit we were ready to start working again. She then helped with all of the finishing touches. It was so easy!
