guy to work with. He also took the time to explain everything we needed
to know about the house. This is the first review I've ever given and
I'm doing it because Will is just outstanding and people should know
about him.
Although the work wasn't finished until approximately 4 months later than promised, the job was not one requiring major repair or changes. The prep time was only a few days and the final work was one day.
I feel the foundation repair contractor used the permit process as an excuse to delay the completion of the job. He failed to let me know what was happening or not happening throughout the process and when I called to find out, I got a call filled with a lengthy apology of every excuse possible. This happened several times and the excuses were always the same ones. Promises were made and not kept. I felt by being patient with him he took advantage of my good will. When I involved my husband the job was promptly finished. Why am i disgusted???
I learned to not use a contractor recommendation.
I also was so impressed that Steve was so patient with all my million questions. I had a very bad experience years before in another state where an inspector wigged out on me and didnt want to answer questions. No matter what they were Steve answered with care. I even called Steve a few times well after inspection for his thoughts. He returned every call and spent patient time (not rushed and didnt act annoyed). Gave me solid advice and instruction.
I highly recommend him.

Will is a general inspector and really doesn't have any deep knowledge of any one area. If there are in fact problems with the house you're inspecting, there is absolutely no guarantee that he will catch them. I truly regret using Will for the inspection of my home.
"Client hired our company twice for home inspections and energy assessments. They cancelled escrow due to conditions revealed during inspection. We submitted a 51 page report with summary section and images for the second property. This is unfortunate experience for client. Both conditions are internal components not observable during the home inspection. Resolution was further hampered when client had contractors do repairs prior to notifying us to evaluate these conditions. Realtor declined to get involved.. Never responded to my communications Our request to visit the property was not accepted. Client went over 60 days of past due payments. They refuse to complete paperwork required for the energy assessment. They were insulted when I ask them to review the terms of agreement and report. They have refused any further communication. Please see our other great reviews for a more accurate description of our work."
Will, the owner, even responded by phone to some of my concerns before the inspection. Paul did the inspection. Both were great to work with and I would call them again!
Otherwise the inspector was courteous and spent approiate time on each item.
"Thanks . Let us know if you interested in a free energy assessment to qualify for rebates up to $4,500 for energy efficiency improvements."
His inspection of the house took about four hours for a single story 3200 sq ft ranch house on a slab foundation. The extremely detailed report arrived the next day and included information on an electrical sub-panel that enabled me to negotiate a $500 credit from the homeowner! The overall report will serve as an excellent guide for my home improvements when we move in.
Will also responded quickly to some email follow-up questions I had.
I highly recommend Inspection Perfection for your next home inspection!
"Thanks. Best wishes on your negotiations and remodeling of your dream home. Let me know if I can be of further assistance."
The report that was provided arrived via email within 48 hours of the inspection. It was extremely thorough and included pictures of the issues he saw while inspecting the house and the pool. It was very easy to follow, with sub-headings according to the severity of the problem. It is going to be very helpful in our repair negotiations with the seller.
I strongly recommend the use of Inspection Perfection. In fact, I plan to hire Will again for a home energy-efficiency audit once we are in the house!
Went well, no problems.
