When you call Ikea, you cannot call directly to the store. After being on hold for over 20 min. the call center answered. Working with customer service on the phone, we agreed upon our sending a picture of the damage, and Ikea would call us to arrange to deliver a replacement. This was on Saturday. The following Wed afternoon, we still had not received a call or email response regarding replacing the damaged top. So we got on the phone and after another 25+ minutes, spoke again with the call center. They looked up our case and told us we have to take the part back to the store because we got it at the store. If we had had it delivered, they would deliver the replacement top. So... #1 They didn't, in 4 days and until we called back, let us know they weren't going to deliver, and #2 after arranging for us to send a picture of the damage and telling us they would then call with delivery day and time, said they won't deliver because the original piece was not originally delivered.
Ikea customer service serves Ikea...not the customer.
Ikea has many great products, and this review certainly won't hurt their business. But customer service in our case was non-caring and not helpful.

It went badly. I didn't think I had to write two reviews. But we bought some badly made furniture. In one case the holes were put in wrong and in the other the directions of assembly were wrong; worse is they dont CARE at all. Its their mistake and YOU pay.

IKEA HELPED ME PICK OUT FLOOR TILES AND OTHER ACCESSORIES TO HELP ME REMODEL MY KITCHEN. THE PRICE WAS WHAT I EXPECTED AS WELL AS THE SERVICE, SINCE I HAVE DEALT WITH THEM BEFORE.

IKEA HAS EVERYTHING THAT I NEED TO GET MY NEW HOME THE WAY THAT I WANT IT. THE FAN WAS VERY INEXPENSIVE AND OF GOOD QUALITY. WHEN THEY INSTALLED THE FAN, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

IKEA WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING ME PICK OUT THE CABINETS THAT WERE PRETTY AND NOT AS EXPENSIVE. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM AND THE PROMPTNESS AT WHICH THEY DELIVERED MY CABINETS.
