We had to return a new garbage disposal and a kitchen faucet to Home Depot because they were defective. The new kitchen sink was also too flimsy. The Home Depot supervisor gave us a better model sink for the same price as the one we returned. We were satisfied with the compromise. We are very pleased with the kitchen remodel.

Don't go there for custom anything. They are stupid, slow, untrained, irresponsible, unresponsive, and totally mismanaged. Distribtutor was useless. I had to go to the factory direct to get decent answers on tech questions. An A rating from Angie's list. Really?

We signed up at the store for a free estimate. The sales person came out and explained the company and its services. The company is N-Hance and they do what's called renewal. Due to the age and condition of our cabinets we were advised to do a color change. We went from golden oak to walnut. The workers came out and prepared the area. They cleaned the boxes and removed all of the drawer facings and cabinet doors. These were taken to their shop where the color change was done. Meanwhile, the cabinet boxes were cleaned and re-colored. The next day the drawers and doors were re-hung. The first thing that went wrong: we added pulls and they did not properly allign them. Now we have sets that are 1/4 -1/2 inch askew. Next, the surface looked NOTHING like the brochure. The texture was flat and very grainy. There was no shine whatsoever. Within a week, we were noticing that the walnut finish was chipping off. They left us a repair kit but the material was much darker than our cabinets. Finally, when we taped off a cabinet to do some painting and the entire finish lifted off with the tape, we starting calling to get them back out. Very poor response. We went to Home Depot home services and reported the problem. Things did get better after that. They came out and admitted that the job was not done correctly. Everything should have been sanded first. They eventually redid the work, but did it on their schedule in-between paying customer jobs.
Bottom line: the color is no longer lifting and chipping, but it is still just a flat texture with no glow or shine what-so-ever. My husband and I will eventually get some fine-grade steel wool and buff down the freckles in the wood. Not a happy customer and would not recommend them.

Store rep (Jerry) was extremely helpful. He took the order for the door we wanted, set up the inspection/estimate for installation. From there we received a call to schedule the work. Mike Rasta was the installer and he was a perfectionist. It took him a much longer time to complete the job because of issues with the fit, but he worked through all problems and we now have a beautiful new front door.

Unknown when Home Depot will deliver the appliances. They cannot give me a hard estimate despite three reschedulings and already collecting my money. It has been very difficult to get ahold of anyone who can help sort out the situation, and they and the appliance delivery service they subcontract to (GE appliances) simply point the finger at each other. Will definitely not be purchasing appliances from Home Depot again.

THEY WERE THE MOST COMPETITIVE OUT OF 3 BIDS I RECEIVED. IT TOOK ABOUT 4 WEEKS FOR THE CARPET TO COME IN, BUT ONCE IT WAS IN THEY INSTALLED IT RIGHT AWAY. THE INSTALL WENT SMOOTH, AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS.
