Please DON'T be fooled by a friendly face and kind smile. DO get multiple quotes from several companies. If my husband and I had done our research (we usually do) we could have avoided this disaster and saved $10,000. Charles L. visited our home multiple times during the process of our home improvement project to add solar to our rooftop. He spent time with our newborn daughter and even played with our dogs We trusted his advice and were excited to move forward with Green Living. Green Living did not deliver according to their own Mission and Vision statements on their "About Us" section on their website. They delivered a poor quality product, poor service and did not provide us with an industry standard product. I've attempted to resolve this issue with Green Living but they have failed to return my phone calls. I originally planned to have Green Living install a pergola as our next home improvement project, but they've lost my trust and my business. Therefor our mission is to offer the HIGHEST QUALITY PRODUCTS and the most EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and to not only meet but always exceed our customer’s expectations.

My wife and I understand that we share some of the blame for this situation and if we had exercised an appropriate amount of due diligence we would not be in this position. We hope that our misfortune will prevent others from making the same mistakes.   Green Living came to our home for a solar consultation, the salesman Charles went over everything, and knew what our needs were. He told us that for $20,000 we would have a system that met our requirements and that it would be up to industry standards. We felt comfortable with this and went ahead with the project. This is the part where we should have had someone else come price a system so that we could compare. As first time homeowners we were too excited to finally have solar and made a very costly mistake.   We recently had a contractor come give an estimate for a different project and when he saw our solar he asked us some basic questions. His face said it all, we had been taken advantage of. I was initially skeptical since he is their competitor but it was pretty easy for him to walk us through and explain each way that Green Living under performed and over charged.   1.)    Green Living did not offer us a monitoring system and when my wife asked about it they said they don't do that. The other contractor informed us that it is pretty standard to have and isn't even that expensive. 2.)    Green Living did not upgrade our fuse box, it was in the initial proposal but they cut it out and reduced the cost by $800. The upgrade should have cost $2,500. So not only did they not perform what they should have, they didn't even refund the full amount. 3.)    Our system should have cost less than $10,000, for what we paid we should have a system producing 590 kilowatts a month, ours will not even produce 300. 4.)    Our system was not functioning for the first 6 weeks, we would have noticed if we had the monitoring system but only when we received an SDGE bill did we know it was not on. The technician who was assigned to turn it on didn't even bother to come on the day that Green Living said he would, no one from the company called to inform us and we had to keep calling to finally have them do it. Please do not make the same mistakes we did. Our options are now pay someone else, definitely not Green Living, to upgrade to the system we should have received or pay for solar and SDGE every month when we do not produce enough energy to cover what we use.

They showed up on scheduled. Worked until the project was complete. They cleaned up very well, including some areas I had neglected recently. They finished on time.

The process was great, Eloy was very informative when he came over to sit and go over options with us. All the work was performed in a clean and timely manner. I would recommend asking for Eloy to come out and go over any roofing/solar needs you may have.

The process was very smooth. A sales rep came to our home and gave us a full inspection and estimate for our windows. He went over all of our options and pricing. We signed a contract and within one week we had an installer at our home remeasuring our windows and ordering them. Our windows were installed 3 weeks later all in one day and they look absolutely beautiful. I couldn't be happier!

I couldn't be happier with green living's service. From beginning to end they were nothing but professional. The work was done expertly at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Nathan Alexander was my point of contact. He explained the products and services provided very thoroughly and had Greenliving replace my old windows. The guys that came in replaced my windows very fast and painlessly. Overall I am very pleased with their workmanship and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking at getting new windows.

Green Living came on the day promised and at the time promised. As it has been raining a lot here in southern California and they were working between rains, roofers worked about 10 hours the first day and 2 hours the second to complete the job. They were careful to pick up and dispose of all debris. Randon and Doug, managers, were professional in explaining the roofing process and answered all my questions beforehand to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with the looks of my new white roof and I fully recommend them.

My husband and I realized we need some repairs done , the one that really stood out was the roof. We met with John from Green Living . I usually don't like to deal with contractors , but John was very professional that both my husband and I felt we made the right decision on opting with Green Living. Thank you John for your help and professionalism!

Everything went just as Jim told us it would. The crew was efficient and did good work. We are very happy with how the job went and with the end result.

John was Amazing,! He answered all my questions and helped me find the best balance of price and quality . John even stopped by during the installation (it only took one day for 12 windows and 2 big sliders) too make sure I was being well taken care of. If you need Windows call Green Living and ask for John!!!!

Work was done with high degree of quality and it looks great.

Beautifully. The crews came out and did all of the repairs and gave us a warranty for their work. Now it looks brand new. It also made the inside of the home 30 degrees cooler because of the heat reflective material we chose.

The work was done quite quickly and efficiently. A specialized crew came out to take care of each element of work, e.g. pavers, painters, etc. Everyone who worked on the property was courteous and well versed in what they were doing. Every question or concern I had was addressed professionally and to my satisfaction. The work was completed today and I am thrilled with the results. I only wish I had found Green Living sooner. I will definitely contact them when I am ready to have the rest of my house's exterior painted. I wish they provided interior remodeling services.

I knew my stucco was cracked, but the stud behind the stucco had actually buckled by the time I had called anyone out to address it. Greenliving was very thorough with the job. They told me exactly what happened and had a more than exceptional solution to the issue. Overall they were very professional throughout the entire experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing exterior work done.

From beginning to end, the process went well. A nice young man knocked on our door, he had noticed our roof was showing signs of ageing. I scheduled an appointment for a full inspection. Jim came out, checked our roof, looked in our attic and showed us oictures of what he found. The roof was in worse shape then I thought.
When the crew came out, they took off our old roof and installed a beautiful new roof. The color has completely changrd the apperance of our home. I just love it.

Green living installed my windows about 2 weeks ago. The had a job in the area and one their reps stopped by my house and helped me set up a window inspection. They had a new representative come the following day to give me an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and showed me all the options in Windows you see today. This was my first time hiring a contractor to work on my house. I couldn't be happier on my decision with moving forward with Green Living. Highly Recommended.
