Grand Entrances has gorgeous doors and knowledgeable salespeople.  However, their prices were higher than our price range.  I know people who have used them and their doors are beautiful and I know they were happy with the service.

This company has a beautiful showroom with excellent examples of doors and door hardware.  Their suggestions are extremely creative and helpful.  I put down a 50% down payment and then had a disagreement about price with them which was 50% my fault for not reading the contract closely enough.  They credited my card and were extremely professional about the whole transaction. I should recommend them to those willing to pay their price.

These folks don't have a contractor's license-they are retailers-so we had to put down 50%. In an economy like this one with businesses going under every day, that was nerve-wracking. It was nearly 5 months from when we first gave them our deposit until the door was installed. But everything proceeded pretty much according to schedule, with a couple of minor glitches, and those are to be expected when it is a custom job. The door looks great and works exactly as we'd hoped. We have those sidelites open nearly all the time. The grillwork casts the prettiest shadows on the entry floor when the sun shines through the sidelites.

They used high quality doors and I was very pleased with their work. They came and got the work done quickly. Even though I could have got it done a lot cheaper than what I was charged, their work made up for it.
