They were honest in what I needed and even took away the and recycled the box for me. They also did not accept my offer to tip them it was a great experience.
Completed as requested
I was told they would be at my office between 8-12. When I got to my office I called the number i used the day before to make sure they had my office phone number to call when they were on their way, as I didn't want them to call my home as I was not there as I was at my office. the person I spoke to, Brandon, said the tech called my home at 7:58 am. I asked him to call the tech and tell him I was at my office and to give the tech my office number. He told me that he had no way to contact the tech and that I should go to the Best Buy store across the street from my office and they might be able to contact him. I told Brandon it was 8:15am and the store wasn't open, He told me it was - that they open early. I checked - they don't.
I called back and got a different person who apologized for the information I got in my last call and found the tech, called him on the phone and he siad that he would be at my office between 11 and 1. When I said I had been told between 8 and noon, i was told that that time had changed to 11 and 1.
Fortunately, the tech showed up and 11am and told me I needed a new router. I asked him to stay put till I ran across the street and purchased one and had him install. He was great - the customer service people are untrained and not useful or helpful at all.
won't use them again. this is the second bad experience I have had with the geek squad
