It went well.  However this person claims he is no longer in business.
I don't understand if he does not want to work Poway or whatever.
If he's still in business he's good at it.

The owner called the fire chief to confirm requirements. They were quick and did the job in one day. The only problem arose when I requested more information about a quotation for further work on the same property. It was a much larger job. For reasons unknown, II never received a response.

It went great. He was very personable and gave me a very fair idea about what he was doing. He was in contact with me, told me when he was going to be there, and was there. He got things done pretty much in the sequence that he laid out. He was actually above and beyond, when he had the crew there to come and finish up all the work. He actually asked me about what all I would like done, and went around the property with me. He explained the little things that can be done when there is a firebreak and what to do with the static. It was mainly about clearing, brushing, cutting lands, moving some dirt around, deciding which species were indigenous, and which weren't. I have a large lawn with extreme slopes, so it was a very involved process. I had only two estimates and they were certainly in the same ball parks. It is hard to judge the price. They were the only ones I was able to find explicitly for this kind of landscaping. As part of the contract, once they take over a property, a couple of times this year, and opt for only one kind of maintenance and trimming, it is included in the same contract for the next year too.

We were impressed by the job they did. The crew with the owner, arrived on time, but due to darkness they had to come back to finish the job. They cleaned the debris both days, They took care of the pool by removing the debris that fell into it.

Our canyon brush turned out to be 10x denser than he initially quoted, and it took Ben and his crew two 10-hour days to finish the job, instead of the 4-6 hours he initially quoted. But he honored the contracted price and did a fantastic job.
