Chairs arrived; immediately took them to another firm to have new fabric put on the dining room chairs. The webbing failed in less than 2 years and Ethan Allen initially refused to make them good saying the warranty was only for 1 year and that was negated because I had the chairs recovered. The upholsterer did not touch the webbing. That part was Ethan Allen's responsibility. I took me 2 weeks dealing with 5 or 6 different people before I received satisfaction from Ethan Allen, and was able to have the upholsterer re do the chairs, fixing the webbing. As far as I'm concerned there is an implied warranty to chairs, and it's certainly longer than 13 months. I will never shop at Ethan Allen again. They don't stand behind their product.

THE SALES MAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. HE KEPT OUR NEEDS AND DESIRES IN MIND WITHOUT TRYING TO SELL US ANYTHING WE DID NOT NEED OR WANT. HE TOOK HIS TIME AND LET US CONTEMPLATE OUR DECISION BEFORE MAKING THIS LARGE PURCHASE. THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE DELIVERY TIME OF 6 TO 12 WEEKS.
